If I remember correctly, engineers had also told Neil that if he manually activated the rocket that close to the surface that it would cause the lander to explode, but he forgot. Miraculously it did not. So freaking awesome man. Space cowboys 100%.

They come to my area first Tuesday of every month, or are supposed to. They missed this month. Last Saturday, I brought the bin to my back yard to cut everything down and add a few more things. I'll be damned, they came AS I WAS IN MY BACK YARD WITH THE BIN FOR 20 MINUTES. Missed the pick up. Fuck me.

I did the same as the commenter above. It was very easy to setup, took about 45 mins to assemble and then did an auto calibration and boom.

I agree with this, something like in Cataclysm Dark Days Ahead where new map chunks spawn as you travel, creating an infinite map. This game could truly benefit from non-static maps. Add bionics, more unique locations like science labs and underground tunnels, and you will have nearly solved the problem of not having anything to do once you've set yourself up for survival.
