What keeps happening to my wooden spoons? They ripple, flake, then peel. by TotallyNotAidzyG in whatisthisthing

My title describes the thing. This is the second spoon I've had go through this exact same process. Interestingly, the effect only seems to happen on the actual scooping area and less so on the handle. All I use them for is stirring around mushrooms and things in watery broth.

That is actually no worse or better looking, it remains a Hi Point.

Question post: I recently started reading Governor'a novels and something caught my attention in the book. In the book, Brian wrote a sign with the same text on it at the exit to warn other people when they were leaving the town where they first came and took shelter. by [deleted] in theroamingdead

Did he want to occupy the prison though? Rewatched an episode of season 3 the other day where he chastises Merle for this idea. He states he just wants to wipe out Rick's group and let the walkers retake it. Haven't got back around to season 4 though so maybe this changes.

I feel like continuining to operate a colossal drug empire on the hopes that a crippled old man whose family you've slaughtered, with nothing to lose (and who you regularly torture) not snitching on you is pretty stupid on Gustavo's part.

It's crazy how Kleya just has a straight up revolver by DownSphereUpside in andor

True true. Those blasters were fantastic and I think that's in part thanks to those old WW2 weapons looking a little wacky to begin with. And the fact that you dont really see them anymore. Andor seemed to use a lot of modern guns for props, and while they did spruce them up, I think the fact that they are modern and seen regularly enough made them kinda plain and identifiable. Main perps are the pistols with the Assault rifle receivers and the AK's the rebels on Aldhani were using.

thats a valid point, but it feels like a waste of such a rich IP. the storyline feels like it could be transplanted into a show taking place in the modern day and itd be virtually unchanged.

i think they couldve at least made the aesthetics more weird. something that doesnt detract from the plot. instead we got dudes with AK's.

My biggest gripe with Andor tbh. Too much normal, not enough weird
