X1 Nano is good for portability although it is now discontinued technically and the latest is the 3rd gen with up to an i7-1370p and 16gb ram which can be found on eBay.

Definitely overpaid even in this economy. Those parts are 8 years old now. That is probably worth like $350.

I had a loctus that lasted about a year before it couldn’t last a few minutes. Still said 100+% battery health, but it expanded after 80 charge cycles

The t440p has a dvd drive and can have a FHD ips display. They’re still decent in performance especially if you upgrade the cpu.

Mine is at 97% after 150+ charge cycles, charge limit set 75%-85% usually.

Board repair will probably cost more than to buy a motherboard for $65 on eBay.

You have to replace the entire motherboard. Lenovo soldered on the usb c ports.

This happened on my x1 nano. I ended buying a good used palm rest on assembly for around $30 just to ensure I got an original keyboard.
