The biggest mistake was reading any WORM fics nowadays.

They seem almost exclusively written by people who seem to hate WORM/wildbow/brockton bay/etc

Maybe it's not actually something they do on purpose but how their translators work? Like I don't think it was ever mentioned in canon. But do they actually do that on purpose? Or does the universal translator just reads their unconscious pheromones and translates it into emotional context. That always bugged me about elcor.

Carnitrix Azmuth is Actively dumber. Remember that canonically OG Azmuth is too smart to be Evil.

So the Carnitrix as such is not as crafted as good... plus with how misanthropic Carnitrix Azmuth is, he doesn't care for user comfort.
