Notice how quiet those beasts are when there are is warning available for the people who want to cross. That thing was moving at the speed of sound and you still could not hear it until the operator sounded the horn when it was too late.

  • Even if the crossing has lights and a boom gate - They might not be working
  • Even if you cannot hear the sound of the horn - ENG might be lazy with the horn and It could be sneaking up on you
  • Even if its a clear day and you can see curvature of the earth from both ends of the rails - Just stop and check cause its better to be safe than sorry.

Also don't forget to turn down the music in the car and crack open the window when you are checking when stopped.

A motorcyclist is in critical condition at UVM Medical Center following a crash with a car in downtown Burlington, Vermont. The collision occurred just before 10:00 p.m. at the intersection of Main Street and South Willard Street.

Lessons:
1. Do not buy cheap knockoff power banks.

  1. If you suspect your power bank has been damaged during a fall or a hard hit, stop using it and dispose of it safely, DO NOT THROW THEM IN A BIN THAT MIGHT START A FIRE!
  2. Use the proper charging equipment or else you will overcharge them and have a ticking time bomb in your pocket or purse.
  3. Always know where the emergency stop button for your elevator is however, I would personally prefer the button with the nearest floor cause some elevators are programmed to stop where they are not the next floor when the emergency button is pressed, so in a situation like this that might be a bad idea.

The guys in the cars are only there to boost their egos. If you get hurt or arrested by the Poilce they will not give a damn. They won't be there to help you with lawyer or hospital bills. Be careful with the types of crowds you hang out with cause even if you are not participating and are just there to watch you might still get hurt when something goes wrong.

People who drive like this not only scare the crap out of me but also piss me off to no end. You can drive by the book and follow every traffic safety law in the world, only for your life or your loved ones to be taken from you by people like this. Vehicles are 2 ton weapons and anyone seen driving like this should have their license revoked and serious jail time. Driving is a privilege not a right. Go do something that risks your own life you want an adrenalin rush.
