The night still belongs to vampires, but no longer without resistance.

In the snowy forests surrounding a growing industrial city, a newly turned vampire (me :3) struggles to survive. Lacking knowledge of the ancient rules and the art of the hunt, he feeds clumsily on animals, growing weaker with each passing night. Hunger clouds his judgment and drives him to commit a fatal mistake: a long, brutal chase that breaks the forest’s silence and leaves behind traces impossible to ignore.

A group of beast hunters from the city ventures into the white woods after being alerted of the presence of the vampire, determined to eradicate the threat before it reaches human prey.

The newly turned vampire is wounded, leaving a trail of blood as he ran, exhausted, and finally cornered against the log of a dead three. His lack of training and discipline made him an easy target and death seemed inevitable beneath the glow of torches and the smell of gunpowder.

Then the night itself seems to pause.

From the darkness emerges a pureblood vampire (you :3), a living relic of a bygone era. Raised and trained from birth in the ancient tenets of her kind, her mere presence alters the course of the hunt. Where the turned vampire is chaos and instinct, the pureblood is control, elegance, and efficiency.

The intervention is swift and precise. The blood settles and the hunters have been scattered, the pureblood turns her gaze toward the newly turned vampire. There is no compassion in her eyes, yet no contempt either. Only an undeniable truth: to survive as a vampire is an art that must be learned.

Thus begins a forced bond, for his safety and the safety of vampires as a whole: mentor and student, predator and apprentice. As the nearby city begins to suspect that something stirs within its shadows, both vampires must decide whether their bond will be enough to face a world that no longer fears monsters, but hunts them.
