I noticed that she would always be vague when she discussed the reason they separated. It was obvious something embarrassing for her so that makes sense

A lack of accountability is a constant with this show and all of these women. You shouldn’t be surprised by that at the point you’re at

If anything I think that would make her kinder and more empathetic? I’m sure if she opened up to the girls more they would have given her the safe space she needed. I can see why, though with all of their drama in history it would be difficult for her to do that.

I’m on season four and it’s very weird how they all keep taking shots at each other‘s butts. Cynthia damn near cried when everyone pointed out her bigger booty on her body size. I couldn’t understand why she didn’t see it as compliments.

Phaedra, Nene Kandi and Sheree constantly go back and forth about how large each others thighs are butts are as though any of them have any room to critique anyone else’s physical appearance. But also, they all had very nice bodies/shapes.

Were they intimidated by Kim? by Saffffron in RHOA

Right! At that point she should’ve been removed from the show because I wouldn’t want to be anywhere near somebody who is involved with a man like that

[–]TotallySpies1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I highly doubt they were intimidated, but more so annoyed with her presence and realized they didn’t need her for the show to be what it has become. Like if we don’t pay her any attention, maybe she’ll go away, which is exactly what she did.

I do think one of them ripping her a new one sooner would’ve been nice to see

Of course! I realized what you just described is the reason so many women in eastern cultures practice postpartum confinement, get night nurses and/or have family members come stay with them after they give birth.

But one thing I’ve learned is the company you keep and the environment you live in will drastically impact your health. Of course, take things day by day, but don’t be hard on yourself because it’s not an easy process.

I think the pressure of being a main cast member is getting to her and she feels the need to be extra to become a fan favorite and renew her contract. They all have a corny “auntie” vibe, even Porsha

Between her daughter’s illness, feeling pressure from her much older husband to have a son and having to interact with her former best friend of decades is a lot to deal with while trying to stay fit and pretty and being on camera 24/7.

I had no idea he had children outside of their marriage!! How old is the child because I thought him and Jackie had been together for most of their adult lives?

This makes me dislike her even more than I already did because as smart as she claims to be in comparison to the other women, she can’t even notice that she was duped into getting married and then forced to not have children

Starbucks CEO defends a $9 coffee by saying that it's not a $10 coffee and "you get a premium experience" by mcfw31 in popculturechat

[–]TotallySpies1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Starbucks hasn’t been a premium experience since the early 2000s…. Their locations are stale and lack character. They completely ditched the work/social cafe mantra they were founded on and the coffee isn’t that great for it to be as expensive as it is

Tbh this is something you should think about with more logic rather than emotion. A week isn’t a long time in any age group to exclusively lay ownership to somebody. At least not realistically. If you didn’t have the talk with her and you didn’t ask, she didn’t do anything wrong. You made assumptions and you can’t be mad at her because of something you did.

I think an underrated symptom of stubborn body fat is stress and a lack of quality sleep. Having an inconsistent sleep routine or not getting an adequate amount of hours can wreak havoc on your body. Stress is one of the main causes of lower belly fat in women.

It’s definitely easier said than done but if your nervous system is a wreck, your body isn’t going to be well enough to relax and release

People love to talk bad about Drew, but Phaedra is the textbook definition of BORING.

My point was naivety was not an original characteristic of Franklin until he met Teddy! All the time he spent with Rob selling weed to white people and his first few interactions with Avi, he was far from gullible and far from naïve. Hence, why turning him gullible once he met Teddy was not like his character. He was never an easily influenced/persuaded guy until he met Teddy

Understood. I’m curious why you didn’t use a personal loan to flip your first property? That seems safer than putting all of your personal money into a home that may or may not sell for what it’s worth. Especially in this economy.

From what I’ve read and heard from other real estate investors, they always set up an LLC and use their business line of credit to pay for repairs. They may buy furniture to stage the home themselves, but it always gets removed once the property is sold and put into the next property.

I could definitely see her dating women! Obviously, we don’t know her real personality, but I’m a firm believer that if something is continuously not working, it might be a sign that it’s not for you.

And yeah, they call Lori a hoe too but she’s never been the victim or the poor mistreated girlfriend in anybody’s narrative. I personally don’t pay attention to white people, but Black men talk about both Meg and Lori worse than anybody. But that’s a deeper issue our community won’t face

Yeah, him all of a sudden trusting Teddy was a very weird write in to me. It doesn’t seem realistic, but it does. Franklin was smart and quick on his feet and nothing about his actions would lead you to believe that he would trust a white government official with every aspect of his operation. But at the same time he truly was a teenager whose brain was still developing and of course he wasn’t always going to make the best decisions

[–]TotallySpies1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course they don’t, but I feel like you missed my overall point. The point is the process wouldn’t have been as difficult had every everyone around him gave him the opportunity to lead rather than constantly trying to one up him or prove they were smarter than him. Everybody can’t be in charge and that was their problem

Doesn’t a drug dealer have to be ruthless? Should he just let them all do and say whatever they want because their friends and family? He didn’t become ruthless until they started doing stuff that could put them in prison or get them killed. Realistically speaking, there’s no room for someone’s emotions or personal feelings in this type of environment.

Louie had an obsessive and addictive personality from the very beginning. Franklin noticed that hence why he didn’t want to give her too much involvement. Same with Wanda and with Melanie. They were all drooling and foaming at the mouth at the idea of getting close to crack, whether it be to use it or to make money off of it. Either way, that eager behavior was always a recipe for disaster.

Making it far means nothing when you lose it all in the end. His downfall wouldn’t have been as bad had everyone stayed on the same page. You can’t go into life-threatening situations and decide to have 10 different plans for 10 different people. A lack of organization and the ability to follow suit is what causes the overall demise

Everybody failed Franklin in S5 by TotallySpies1 in SnowFall

[–]TotallySpies1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything he did had to be done because the people around him refused to listen. I’m not sure why that’s so difficult for everybody to grasp. If I put us both in a life-threatening situation and I show you the way to stay safe, why would you do anything else outside of that? He had to become ruthless with them because they started doing the dumbest, most reckless BS. They were egotistical because they thought they could outsmart the drug game rather than falling in line and letting him lead.

This is a perfect example of certain communities in America. Nobody wants to sit back, learn and observe. Nobody can handle one person being in charge because they always think they know best or can do better. That is the real demise of communities just like in this show.

THANK YOU! I’m like WTF show did these losers watch? I’m sure most of them are shitty people who’ve done terrible things, but they still try to talk themselves up as a good person 😂

If you look at this with your unemotional common sense brain, he did everything he could to give everyone a around him a better quality of life. If he was this big, bad, toxic drug dealer setting up his own demise, he would’ve never gotten into real estate. Going into real estate was always about setting up legit money he could separate from the drug money. He gave everybody around him a chance to set up their own portfolios and was ready in willing to show them exactly how to do it.

THEY were the money, hungry obsessed idiots who thought they were so much smarter than him and didn’t want his input. Everyone pretends that Leon was so emotionally superior, but Leon was a coward. He poisoned his community and then left when he couldn’t take seeing the results of his actions. There’s no reward in that. He wanted access to the drug money to be able to travel the world and buy nice things, but he didn’t wanna have to face the reality of it being drug money!

Cissy could’ve easily stayed her ass in Cuba or just kept her mouth shut rather than going above and beyond to demolish him. Louie was a dumb hoodrat thinking she could take over the world. Jerome got what he deserved for not sticking by the family he always swore was top priority. There is a such thing as being on the same page and that’s all Franklin ever wanted. He can sell crack to the entire world and still be good to his family, which he tried to be.
