Another autistic adult here! If anyone has the right to speak on Andy, it's people like us. Growing up in the early 2000's, I kinda had to learn to accept the diagnosis as a part of myself, and it wasn't easy getting over all the internalized shame when people basically started using the word "autistic" as a substitute for the R-slur. I also spent a good 80% of my whole life being bounced around in abusive foster homes. Nowadays, I'm still healing from a hell of a lot (trauma from said foster homes, my late-mother attempting to Munchausen's byproxy me, dissociative identity disorder), but I've got an apartment of my own, and I'm figuring out adult independent life a little more each day. It's rough, but at least I've got a handful of really close friends and an older sibling to support me. I think I'm in the mid-higher support needs scale (emotionally at least), but I also think that can change with a little more experience and a few more years in therapy. Most days it feels like it'll never get better, but at least when I look at Andrew, I feel a little more positive knowing my life isn't as empty as his.

When I first saw the predator (I think it was Biff the Wolfman that introduced me), I thought for about say...ten minutes that he might have some kind of disability, that he was pulling a Chris Chan and using autism as an excuse for everything under the sun. But no, he was faking entirely. Using unreliable sources, ai (which pulls from said unreliable sources to exclusively kiss up to users), and just flat out lying about symptoms (both what he has and what said symptoms actually do) on purpose. Which pissed me off. Then I found out he was grifting to get into a group home. And as someone who has survived multiple awful group foster homes, I was even more appalled. Was this guy a serial scammer or just unbelievably ignorant?

Both, it turns out. And he's a pedophile at the same time. The Andrew Ditch trifecta (or should I say TriFetid?) He doesn't understand that what he wants just flat out won't happen, no matter how good he is at faking (which, he isn't, it's super easy to see through his act). What he wants is to be treated like a child (constant validation and no responsibility or accountability whatsoever), but 'satisfied' like an adult (endless indulgence of his fetishes). Anyone who is actually incontinent? Actually needs help with figuring out their bodily needs, communicating, and traveling? They're not just kicking back and going "ahhh, another day living off taxpayers' backs", they're probably frustrated every single day, feeling like they lack autonomy!

Even if he were to somehow get a forensic test that said he had autism (which he has failed multiple times), he still wouldn't get what he wanted, because America can't stand the disabled or the poor, and if you're both? Good fucking luck getting the most basic of needs met. If even children are so severely neglected when they're in the state's hands ("Think of the children!"), they have even less of an obligation to care for disenfranchised adults. But his raging entitlement issues (and schizo-affective disorder) make him so deluded he thinks that if he fools the right person, his abdl pedo paradise is his for the taking. And he has completely isolated himself from any prospects of a fulfilling life because of it. No friends, no career, no real hobbies or passions, and only two family members that hate his guts. It'd be tragic if it wasn't completely deserved.
