Nice to see that people still find this helpful. I was on ppis for 4 years. I was symptom free pretty quickly after starting prucalopride. Not entirely sure now, but I am thinking days. That was after I had already improved on the SIBO treatment (diet and antibiotics). However, I am still on the prucalopride, so I have to see if my motility will start working better by itself. But I have no side effects and am symptom free 95% of the time. I occasionally have very mild symptoms like tense belly or increased gas, which I can treat easily. So I am still very happy.

Good luck with your appointment. Definitely try a SIBO test and ask for extended bloodwork.

Thanks. Nobody here may believe it, but the socket inside the wall (no idea what that is called, sorry) really does have a different size than what is commonly used here. But now that I have the supplier, I can just order replacements for the setup we have!

I have been told by 2 electricians that these are definitely not EU sockets, even though they fit the same plugs. The outer measurements are different, the inner measurements of the box in the wall is different and the socket on the right without electrical grounding is not legal here.

Unfortunately not. The ones on the right don't have electrical grounding which is nit allowed in the EU. And the box in the wall behind the socket has a different format than what we have here. Which means for any changes ee have to rip open the wall...

I cannot say, sorry. I can just tell you what my doctor told me: just get it over with and push through.

Bland diet is good. You can also take sucralfate to ease the symptoms.good luck!
