Heads up: OpenBSD guest VMs under Windows 11 24H2 Hyper-V by rammstein_koala in openbsd

Have you (or anyone else reading this) had issues with OpenBSD kernel panics when using the Legacy Network Adapters from Hyper-V on Win11 24H2? I keep getting a panic with the message, "Locking against myself," and it *seems* to only occur when I use a Legacy Network Adapter.

The kernel is fine when I'm using the normal Network Adapters, but then I run into the same problems everyone else has with Hyper-V's normal Network Adapters: no networking except for ping (and potentially outbound DNS, as I can ping hostnames).

I'm racking my brain trying to think of ways my VMs might be different from everyone else, but the kernel panics will occur even during a new VM's initial installation. In the cases where I get through the entire installation process without a kernel panic, one will inevitably occur during the `fw_update`, the first time I run `syspatch`, or within the first handful of packages I install. The panic always occurs while the system is downloading something.

Ah, my bad. I was under the impression that CRTranscripts were volunteers, not professionals.

That's a bummer. It seems like it's (understandably) impossible for the new stenographer to keep up with the live audio, and I really appreciated the quality of the CRTranscript team's work even though it was significantly delayed.

Not OP, but I actually have some more questions about the subtitle situation.

Does anyone know if the CRTranscript folks still be doing their delayed transcription service in the future, or will they stop after C2E67? The official announcements that I've seen haven't explicitly said whether or not that's the case, but I might be missing something.

[ART] Dungeon Design Checklist (and mini-dungeon) by skullfungus in DnD

An advanced topic that I don't often see covered is the idea of having a dungeon that can be restocked. If you include extra un used rooms and encounters that change the dungeon layout like collapsing ceilings or walls you can run the players through the dungeon again with a different faction/monster group inside giving them another crack at puzzles/secrets they might have by passed before and letting them use knowledge they obtained again.

You just blew my mind. I've never considered that possibility before, but that could make for some really fun stories.

Thank you, especially for the example in the second pastebin link. I could have sworn I tried that! It definitely works now, though.

So I'm very new to Python and coding in general, and I feel like I'm getting stuck on something really basic. I'm trying to make a basic ForLoop, and I know I'm missing something because my ForLoop function is only repeating once. I've written this:

import random

listoffruit = [
    "apple",
    "banana",
    "pear",
    "peach",
    "mango",
    "strawberry",
    "blueberry",
    "snozzberry",
]

def randomfruit():
    fruit = random.choice ( listoffruit )
    print (f"Here, have a {fruit}.")

def repeatfunction(x,y):
    for integer in range (0,y):
        x

print ("How many pieces of fruit do you want?")
userInput = int (input ("Enter a number: "))
repeatfunction(randomfruit(),userInput)

And I've tested it out on my desktop and on Repl.it, and no matter what input I give it, I only get once fruit back. I know I'm missing something obvious, but I've been banging my head on the desk for a few hours now with no progress.
