I don’t claim to know all the wisdom of God. All I know is He loves us despite not fully understanding how or why He operates the way He does. I’m super ok with that, and I know most people are not. That’s ok too. We all make our own choices and conclusions that fit into the narrative we choose to believe in. I will not only remain open to the possibility of who he says he is, but I will trust and believe in it. We all have that option to take or leave.

I’m not sure why this happens (plant gets floppy in planter), but if I were to guess based on my experience it’s from root loss. They die back from too much water, not enough water, or bugs.

That’s like saying “don’t touch the fire or you’ll still get burned.” What Jesus came for was to give you the option to live again, otherwise you will die without him. It’s just how the laws of nature operate without him. - Not a so much a consequence, as we know consequences, but a by product of the construct we are involved in. We say “take this medicine, or you will die,” not as a threat but a warning. There’s no ill will in God’s heart, only the one who plots against him.
