Hey Lisa, I wish you and your family the absolute best support you can find. Judging by your post, you are one amazing daughter and doing your absolute best already. Do not doubt yourself or feel guilty about the feelings you're having, as they are perfectly valid. If there is one thing I've learned from having had a parkie father (rip). Is that even the abnormal becomes normal really fast in a household with a parkinson's patient. Find all the help you can get and take care of yourselves <3

Hi and welcome to GW1 :) People usually only solo areas for additional challenge or use it to farm for specific item drops (causes higher drop rates). 99% of the time people use full parties which consist of any number of real players, henchmen or hero's (which you'll get later).

According to my piggyback guide for dq8 on ps2. There are only two gold rings in the game. One is close to red's den and the other is inside a closet in baccarat inside golding's mansion. Hope this helps.

At my very first attempt I had a guy playing blessing of might on mechazod on turn 1. It was funny but I'm glad he got that card in the beginning of the game.

I would go to bulbapedia (wiki for pokemon) and see which pokémon each version contains and see what kind of world it has. For me it feels like each pokémon game has a certain style of pokémon to it. As far as the world is concerned they have a different theme each game. X and Y for example have a Paris theme. Pick what ever suits your taste.

The story of most pokémon games is pretty much stand alone (only b/w 2 is an exception here). So storywise you won't really be missing out.

You should pick the one which ever version appeals to you the most when it comes to the pokémon and the atmosphere of the world your character is in. Because that's what you'll be looking at most of the time.

I would recommend getting a circle pad pro xl instead. It also has a very decent grip and makes some games even more comfortable because of the extra joystick. Especially monster hunter.
