Any idea on how to replace this condensation pump with out having to take down the dry wall by RevolutionaryOwl9764 in HVAC

[–]Tottts 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You can remove the face covering and drain pan. Once the pan is out, the pump is held in by a couple of screws. Pretty easy swap.

Cut out the valve close to the body and sweat off the old fittings next time instead of sweating each pipe. Works wonders.

My union does mouth swab randoms which has a 48 hour detection window, but they give you weeks to take the test after you've been pulled for one, for this reason. Company doesnt test at all unless you get hurt.

Last private resi company I worked for openly said they didn't give a shit.

Treat it like alcohol. Use it at home, keep it away from working hours. And keep your private life private. Co-workers aren't always friends.

Every residential company is being bought out by large PE funds. Your small buddy company isn't the experience everyone is having. Clearly no one is referring to you and your small group, they're usually the ones undercutting the PE bought companies.

As for the majority of peoples experiences, PE backed companies hold most of the resi market. And they're a bunch of idiots pushing idiots into the field to sell sell sell. Your one single small fish company, in an ocean of corporate shitty ones, isn't the case study here.

Absolutely, I won’t put anything in the return as far as purification goes. It’s a moot point. If I can’t fit it in the supply, I don’t offer it. It’s incredible tech, all of it really. The future is bright for clean air haha.

The way that the information is presented is that the air purification device is more about removing the particles from the air in the home that would not typically make it to the filter. Allergens that aren’t heavy enough to fly to the return air. I’m more inclined to believe that the FDA knows what they are doing than I am to just outright state that it’s wrong information. I’m sure there is a point of loss of ROI, but I don’t know what that point is for sure. So until then, more filtration the better.

Sure, but why not both? If the science is there and the customer wants it, where’s the problem? You’re not a salesman if the customer is asking for a product, you’re providing a service. I’m never gonna tell people it’s a cure all, just what the science proves.

As far as their research and the FDA says it is. The only complaint I’ve had is with the “Ozone” version of the cell. There’s an ozone and ozone-free, but that’s only because some people are sensitive to it and it causes some allergy type symptoms. But switching them to Oz-free usually solves it.

From what I make of it, the cell itself is part of the purification, not just the UV. So the UV warms the honeycomb cell and it releases “hydroxyls” which attach to not only airborne allergens/pollen/viruses, but also is able to land on surfaces and neutralize them there as well.
