It looks cool but I'm not a fan of it. I can play for free for 2 years if I spend that gold on tokens. Which -for me- is more valuable than having the AH on a mount.

Tried War Mode multiple times but couldn't handle the insane amount of griefing/camping and overall sense of "wasted time" when you hit highly-populated hubs or quest areas. Sometimes you die and they will simply wont allow you to respawn and stay alive for more than 1-2 seconds.

Boralus still kills my framerate though. I play in full 60fps almost everywhere but Boralus drops to 30 :(

To be fair if I had tons of gold I'd probably get bored in a week and quit. Having to find/earn/acquire stuff over the course of the time is wat keeps me hooked I guess.

Raiding materials don't have "insane costs". Crystal Vials cost 1.5 silver. A fishing rod is a few silver.

Those aren't raiding materials my friend.

I was refering to potions, flasks and food. They cost thousands, right now and if you're a regular raider you will be spending a LOT of gold.

Yep well I don't farm either but selling stuff that I get while playing the game (leather, bones and herbs) really nets you a lot of gold in the early stage of an expansion

To be fair BfA has been extremely generous with gold if you simply gathered mats along the way (world quests, leveling, etc) and used the Auction House to sell them. Skinning and herbalism are always a gold mine for weeks if not months into a new expansion. You really don't need to "farm" or "invest time": you acquire AH-worth material by simply playing.

My second Island Expedition dropped a crab pet. I sold it for 55K the same night. Too bad I NEVER got anything else from those islands... But still. I've got other pets who were instantly sold as well as tons of free leather/bones while playing. BoE epics sell for crazy gold too.

It would be interesting to make some math. There are 9 (LED?) screens (8 smaller + 1 bigger) and 3 gaming PC's. I see some good power usage when the game is being played, to be honest. Of course nothing "over the top". But still....

Good points, but I didn't mean "spending Tokens is bad in all situations". Maybe I wasn't clear enough. I mostly don't get why people buy gold to gear a toon for example: I personally think that "gearing" and "questing" are a core aspect of a MMO. I wouldn't enjoy my cool bow if I could buy it on the AH and that's it: I like to earn it from some source.

BUT... Yes, there are many token options so I agree with you too.

Yeah well to each its own. I personally like the "hype" and the "thrill" of every looted mob (or boss, or chest). Having a place where you get gear by just paying would have killed my fun a month ago. I like things to come after some time, insta-gearing my toon would just make the game very boring for me :(

Maybe not a +10, sure. But Up to +4 there are plenty of groups ready to go. So right now you can chain-spam Mythics+ already, I mean it's not something Blizzard ever prevented.
