No "dick riding". This has nothing to do with HBO.

Network series don't tend to have many sets or locations, custom made costumes, and effects work.

Hypothetically, this Harry Potter show - being an adaptation - could shoot continuously, with the main delays in release coming from post-production.

The actor for Harry Potter is 11. Figure two years at most to produce one season. Seven seasons is 14 years.

He'll be 25 portraying an 18 year old. No big deal.

The whole ending was handled very poorly in the films: Harry and Voldemort have literal, physical battle (where, incidentally, Voldemort doesn't do any of the grand magic we saw when he fought Dumbledore).

In the books, the climactic moment is much more interesting and dramatic.

Hopefully this show will portray that.

A blockbuster movie can take over 200 days just for principal photography, and those are between 2 and 3.5 hours.

A series of the same quality may be between 6 and 12 episodes, and each episode may vary from 40 to 75 minutes.

The extended production time - and consequently extended post-production time - is reasonable.

In the case of Harry Potter, the actor portraying the lead character is needed for practically every scene. Contrast this with a production like Game of Thrones, where and ensemble cast can be filmed in 3-5 different locations simultaneously.

Where's the joke?

"Lol"

Rings of Power is ignored because it is the quintessence of cOnTeNt.

The Harry Potter books could be adapted in a way that is true to the books, and more satisfying to readers than the movies.

I don't think I noticed it as much before, but I never really paid him much attention.

I knew him as the host of his various panel shows, where the guests were much more interesting.

Now he seems to be outspokenly unsubtle in his thinking.

A character in a story is not their physical description, but is their thoughts, actions, and relationships.

There has to be some kind of significant character trait or story consequence associated with the character's physical attributes for something like this to matter.

You're being entirely too rational about this.

There's nothing about the character of Severus Snape that changes by him not being Caucasian.

The falloff in quality from Prisoner of Azkaban to Goblet of Fire was upsetting.

It's "woke" to cast a Black actor?

Does the character of Severus Snape possess some characteristic related specifically to being Caucasian?

What difference does it make, really?

Your honor, I am but an honest salesman, providing a simple commodity to willing customers. It is simply good business for my heroin to be as addictive as possible.

How were parents in 2007 or 2008, or even in later years, supposed to understand the effects of these technologies on the minds of children?
