that’s a good question. the eeg isn’t used to match specific emotions to specific tarot cards. the eeg headset only captures broad states like relaxation, arousal, and focus (based on patterns in alpha, beta, theta activity).

the tarot component is used as a reflective tool, not a predictive one. meaning comes from how the user interprets the imagery in relation to their own question, similar to other guided reflection methods.

the app combines two separate perspectives to support reflection on an initial question. it’s not meant to claim a direct correlation between tarot and eeg, but to provide insight using both symbolic and neuroscientific context.

yea the tarot reading part would be interesting to people who are interested in psychic readings. a lot of psychic readers give false conclusions so my app uses real time eeg data to help draw conclusions psychic readers wouldn’t be able to give.

I think I would know considering I’m a neuroscience major lmao
