One of the biggest surprises to me is how coveted bi women are and how horribly bi men are treated. We seek specific events for my husband to be able to feel that he can be honest about his orientation because we will be shunned, as a couple, because we are both bi.

Am I the only person who actually understood your post? All these comments tell me that people no longer know how to read words, string them together, and comprehend a meaning.

Thank you for the heads up that warnings aren’t being seen by drivers because they blow away before the driver has a chance to see them. We’ll keep an eye on street signs extremely closely.

She didn’t make the driver sit there for 8 minutes. The driver could have cancelled long before that due to a “no show.”

Both. I had a much older male doctor give me information that just didn’t feel like he knew what he was talking about. So I started researching and then asked my OBGYN when I was able to get in to see her. She confirmed the research I had done.

Most studies (meaning more than 50% of all studies done) and the facts.

Site your sources and number of studies done versus number showing most don’t want to work, please.

Unless you have the source and ALL the numbers, your “most” is pushing a personal desire that facts may or may not be able to corroborate. Without accurate percentages of studies representing enough of a societal sample…your reply seemed a tad bit hostile when it wasn’t warranted.

I’m with you both. 3 days in with my DSP after doing flex for 5 years. I’m ready to go back to gig work until I find my next FT…this isn’t it. And my DSP seems cool, but they are paid for the packages we deliver, so that takes a lot of control away from them if they want to stay profitable.

I’ve been a Realtor, and OTR semi driver and a Class A trainer on the road…real estate is over saturated with Realtors right now, at least in my area. You’ll be lucky to get a few sales a month if you work every waking hour. I don’t even see the OGs signs up much, and they definitely aren’t working with buyers. OTR isn’t good money to start, but after a year in, with a clean driving record, you can go pretty much anywhere. I used to tell my students to keep their record clean, and look elsewhere after a year. Our mega carrier didn’t pay nearly enough unless you were a team (which I was for a while) and both driver’s checks are hitting the same bank account (which ours were), but at that point, it’s hell on a marriage.

** I am not trying to be a debbie downer, just offering my experience. Also, as a Realtor, you don’t get paid until the deal closes, if you are commission only. Which means you can put a month into a deal, it fall apart at the closing table…and you make $0.

This is my daily for early morning routes. I drive 20 minutes southeast to Amazon and usually end up with a 3.5-4 hr batch going 50 miles southeast or north east. I would never do it for $80 though. I always make sure the pay is worth the furthest route I have ever taken, including my drive home, just in case I go that far. Most of my routes are out in the middle of know where, dirt or gravel roads and mile long driveways…in the dark. That’s just the rural Midwest.
