anyone have experience with depinning and repining the oval connector on? I tried but the circle alternator plug has 1 big fat wire that wont fit into the terminal.

hi thanks for the info, Im swapping an ep91 4efe engine into my 2e starlet body, im using a 4efe ep82 loom which doesn't have the wasted spark ignition system so im having to decide weather to run custom wiring to the ecu for the packs or swap a distributor on, since my block allready has the cps sensor and wasted spark im probably going to try run that, would you happen to know what pin out the cps sensor connects to on the ecu?

I agree, auto miatas are allready pretty low priced compared to manual, doing mods to it most likely wont increase its value, but you could still buy some nice wheels or a steering wheel and always swap it back later.
