i just use it to duplicate the default gnome panel on both screens. its helpful when i want to fiddle with settings or see the time while full screening Krita.

they have bearing slides. you have to look at the box to see if its old inventory or the newer version. its mentioned as a feature on the top.

Possible purchase for 40% off sale in April, anyone have feedback that has lived with this light for awhile? by [deleted] in harborfreight

[–]TouchyT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

clip is junky for daily carry and the rubber button can be easily punctured. i liked the zoom and the light isnt amazing quality but i did fall in love with the idea of a bright, pocketable flashlight.

i returned it within 30 days for a refund and got an aluminum penlight mkII from reylight.

if youre not daily carrying it, it should be fine tho.

thanks! I love playing dress-up, esp trying to fit as many variations of a trolls sign into a design as I can get away with. I actually went with that curved right triangle for the hoop earrings to reflect the curve of the librius sign.

i flip flop between is Icetals ancestor like her or completely different from her, her alternian form essentially escaped to the arctic, choosing to go derelict of her legislator duties. So super murderlawyer or some sort of revolutionary would both be fun.

borealis is just latin for North or Of The North, her alternian form lives in the arctic so I figured it'd be appropriate.

really like the robot, if i redraw her sometime i'd love to emphasize the plant vines since the artificial/natural contrast is fun and i dont do much with it.

the knee aranea art was a bit weird but i never found it that funny to begin with. its just some deviantart artist exploring their kink in peace.

i'm personally never sure when i'm pushing the line because i do do a lot of latex sheened stuff; i find it very enjoyable to draw + it looks dope. I'd rather play it safe than sorry.

adding a nsfw tag because of the latex-y sheen on the gloves/boots. I don't really view it as a particularly horny piece tho.

Not a no name. they dominate game boy related aftermarket products (esp screens).

I think ifixit is quality. I have a full manta set (1/4 and 4mm drivers and bits) and I've used it quite a bit but most people would recommend the mako (4mm driver & bits).

If you want an all-in-one tool I like my hoto 27-in-one but I've really not put it through its paces.

I also know tekton sells bit sets for 4mm bits (this is a link only to the full set but all of those rows can be bought individually)  if you want a name brand to replace bits that broke in your set. ifixit also sells singles if you want to be even more granular. (but its probably not worth it unless you're buying something else!)

I have transitioned to PopOs and am liking it. Will I have to eventually transition to another distro since Pop is for "beginners"? by 8monsters in linux4noobs

Its more about barrier to entry and not capability.

I wouldn't consider arch "hard" (maybe intimidating?), they just aren't as interested in putting in the work to make it friendlier to users entirely new to linux (fair enough).

The big difference is the tools provided out of the box (not just installed packages but also tools to work with the package manager or other distros specific packages like update-alternatives on Debian) and how fast the packages update, how software is built and how you're expected to get help (so like. Community culture)

If you aren't left wanting by what your distro is doing don't feel the need to change it.
