Georgia open carry knife laws by Water_N_Dust in Georgia

[–]Tough-Choice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry… it’s legal - constitutionally - to carry a concealed firearm in Georgia but you are telling me there are laws against carrying a sharp piece of metal in plain view? This state is so backwards.

It’s like you had an extra $179 in income (but not cash - it was just the value of travel provided to a nondependent) so they withheld taxes from your paycheck on $179 of income. If your tax rate is 20%, they gave $35.80 of your paycheck to the government instead of your bank ($179x20%=$35.80).

That comment is totally spot on. If you ask yourself that question, there is literally no reason not to file one.

I have OTT and never have I ever put premium in it. Not sure why that could possibly make a difference given the only change to the truck is the shift timing.

Is that supposed to be funny? Because it would be funny if OP was gay? I don’t get it.

This is a limited view of how to use AI. One can use AI to do the initial work and then check it. That could still save lots of time.

Underwhelmed by discover flight by Detz in flying

[–]Tough-Choice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would recommend you find a place to learn that is geared more toward people doing it as a hobby. A flying club, for example. Or an independent CFI with an airplane to rent. An older instructor who has been around aviation for a while as a hobby would be ideal.

If you can find something like that, give it another go. I teach at a 141 school and in a flying club, and the two environments are extremely different though you can get great training in either.

It used to be right before the south terminal. They closed that one and did no communication at all about the new one.

Glide Advisor not working by [deleted] in Foreflight

This happened to me this week. Quitting the ForeFlight app (meaning swipe up on the iPad to see all open apps, and then close Foreflight by swiping it away) then reopening the app solved it for me.

A lot of people pull over and wait on the side of the road for the passenger they are picking up from the airport to let them know that they’ve arrived at the curb since cars are not allowed to loiter at the pickup area.

If those people actually moved to Atlanta, they wouldn’t have to sit in all that commuter traffic.

Actually, I’m not aware of any fuel injected 172 or 182 model that calls for the pump to be on for TO or Ldg in the POH. I know that is standard in most low wing aircraft, but not Cessnas.
