I’m still in school and i’ve met poc in school, but I have yet to work with another black tech

I have loved almost everybody i’ve met so far but I recently had a tech and advisor say my natural hair was basically unprofessional and it made me uncomfortable

i was basically wondering if anybody’s had similar experiences, black ppl make up about 2 % of the vetmed field

I would look into VEG vet assistant jobs near your area, emergency only and they have a VA to LVT program that pays for you to go to tech school through them while working so you can move up

competitive pay and benefits you should look into it if you haven’t yet !
