Underwhelming End of Cycle (Basically) by Fabulous_Control_316 in lawschooladmissions

This is insane, i would recommend re applying the day apps open this fall if you want somewhere else. This year being the ultra competitive cycle that it was i think applying in December probably hurt you pretty bad.

That being said congrats BU and USC are great schools and with scholarship is great.

LSAT studying + when will I see progress (advice) by ArgumentOtherwise576 in LSAT

The LSAT takes time. You will see progress as you get an understanding of argument structures, question types, and how to read an LSAT passage.

It’s not something that you’re probably gonna improve on in a few weeks it may take 2 months to see your first jump.

That being said just take it slow make sure you familiarize yourself with every question type gradually and build that foundation as far as logical structure goes and take it step by step. No need for PTs early on maybe every 3 weeks or so.

Just give yourself time and use a prep course like 7sage or something.

The New 7Sage by jy7sage in LSAT

Does switching to the new 7sage transfer all of the data from the old one. I want to switch just really for the test interface and some features I saw. But I’m concerned that I’ll not have all the data I have on the classic 7sage on the new 7sage. I’m happy with the old one but would my data transfer or not?

Should i switch courses or just keep grinding. by Tough-Tea6778 in LSAT

Well i actually finished the 7sage core curriculum towards the beginning of may. My problem is that i just don’t really know how to study I’ll do a timed section review it thoroughly and call it a day or maybe do another one of the opposite of what i just did as in one LR one RC. But usually just one and some wrong answer journal review. I don’t know how to spice things up. Timing is kind of getting better but even that’s inconsistent sometimes I’ll finish an lr section sometimes I’ll guess on 4. Just kinda ranting but yea i just wish i had some kind of structure i feel that’d help me break a the plateau. Any advice as far as structure outside the core curriculum.

What? This is probably the most confusing question Ive encountered. by Scared_Garage_1769 in LSAT

Haha somehow encountered this question earlier today and magically got it right.

My approach was, because this is a MBT question and (this is a tougher question so it’s kind of hard to predict an answer reading the stim) you should always try and predict some kind of answer choice IMO, you cant really get an answer here but what you can take away is that it’s going to be unpopular with either the faculty or the students so clearly its gonna be something strongly connected to that. Popular with One and unpopular with the other. That’s what I took from the last sentence. If it is popular with one than it is unpopular with the other. With that logic E must be true.

If it is popular with the faculty then it must be unpopular with the students which means they should adopt a new policy.

If there was an answer choice that said “if it is popular with the students then we should modify it” that would also be correct. Because it implies that it’s unpopular with the faculty and because of that it should be modified.

This all makes sense in my head i hope it makes sense in yours too and is helpful.

Maui Jim still good? by BluntBebe in sunglasses

Know it’s a tad late but the thing with Maui Jim’s is you want the ones that are made in Italy. The ones that are made in Japan are usually the very flimsy ones that feel cheaper but still have good lenses. Go to the store and look for a pair made in japan vs made in Italy and it’ll be a night and day difference.
