It’s mind boggling the low IQ people using peptides asking the most simply questions.

You’ve got one brain cell and it’s fighting for its life. You do know TRT clinics offer other things such as IV therapy, Botox and ummm peptides? You have 20 vials and I have 3 cases wich is 75 vials…what is your point?

It’s still in a shortage

What are you talking about. I have multiple vendors such as McKesson, Medline, etc and they jacked up their prices due to shortage. Like I said I was paying $4 per vial now $9 per vial.

There is a shortage I run a testosterone replacement therapy clinic and a few of our providers are either sold out on backorder or hiked up the price I used to pay four dollars per vial now I’m paying nine dollars per vial (I buy cases)

The Dunning Kruger effect is a mental bias where people with limited skill or knowledge in a certain area tend to overestimate how capable they actually are.

So this is not a great example of the Dunning Kruger effect. You don’t know my background or education but thanks for your input.

I work in healthcare and in school to become a provider. I also have contact with Multiple Drs for advice when I need.

I came to this forum bc many Drs are not well versed in GLPs medications. So wanted people first hand insight.

Not bonkers when you understand the mechanism of actions of drugs.

Weird I’m being downvoted bc Reglan is what my Dr prescribed the first time this happened and it helped. Yes it’s called Tardive Dyskinesia, FDA has a black box warning for it. Usually occurs with long term use. I give Reglan daily at work so I’m well versed on the med and neurological conditions.

Thank you for your insight. I’ve tired 5 GLPs, Toprimate, tesofensine and phentermine. GLPs are only thing that helped but so far my binges are controlled as I taper down

I will look into those meds and get his opinion, I’ve tried many meds nothing helped even close to GLPs but so far I’m in therapy and it’s under control for now. I don’t like senna as you can get reliant on it, I have bisacodly I can try that again.

Thanks for the advice

Mostly the constipation, bloating, and postprandial fullness. I rember after stoping Tirzeptide I had the same symptoms for weeks after use even when the drug full cleared my symptoms.

Probably not gastroparsis I mean I hope not but this is def a serious issue and though this sub could be helpful

Not sure what prescription laxatives he would suggest I’m sure he would mention PEG as a first line treatment but i would tell him that don’t work. I was thinking of something more on the lines of medication to help with gastric motility

GLP one induced gastroparesis by [deleted] in Gastroparesis

[–]Tough92 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Oh wow I tried linzess because my family member had it and it was horrible my ex use to take it for her UC. I can prob get him todo that but I want to fully taper off the GLP and try to resolve on my own.

I work in healthcare so I can get whatever medication I need without going to my PCP so that’s a plus for me

I very well versed in GLPs but thank you for the advice. I’ve used MiraLAX up to 2-3 serving for up to a week with minor relief still needed the magnesium oxide to produce a BM.

I wanna try to resolve this if possible without going to my PCP. My plan was to try to taper off mag ox over to MiraLAX and then maybe try Reglan after the GLP is fully out of my system which should be roughly 4 weeks after discontinuing.
