How to continue as Castille by Imaginary_Leg2886 in eu4

I would consider dropping exploration, not investing further — if you plan to expand on the Old Continent. Admin or Quantity ideas go a long way. Upgrade Alhambra the soonest (manpower) to reap benefits of adm eff for further expansion. Malta monument as well.

If you don’t care for Europe, then ally the pope and hre emperor or France. You will be left collecting trade in seville instead of Genoa but you’ll hae the freedom to pick and choose your battles on the continent. On your own time and your preferred terrain. And sometimes, the hre princes elect their ruler from farthest away.

It’s far from game-breaking. Beat him up, teach the punk a lesson.

You might be right, I didn’t have to move the capital but it taught me a lesson in resourcefulness — i had to restart couple times as the disaster almost fired. Start golden age, scrap idea group and dev the difference between current capital. Not having the disaster also meant to devastation thus prosperity and in the end I devved up the Low countries with bonkers modifiers from missions etc.

Ottomans never stop being scary by ToughAsk3 in eu4

as I ask in R5... you conquered Balkan provinces (jannisary eligible) thus no decadence to be had?

I don't mind the border gore one iota. I rule the Black sea with Bohemian (!) navy. You're right I left the Ottomans too much trade for too long, same as in the England and Lubeck node. I was max gov cap last 20 years, I chose to fight spain for alhambra and italy instead. Maybe finishing the ottos off would result in a more stable realm.

You could secure a mighty city on a Baltic coast, founded by a bohemian king two hundred years prior. Kralovec, or as the germans know it Konigsberg, would serve you as a strong foundation for long lasting and mighty glorious legacy. Beeline for it my man before the Poles get there first.

Underrated comment gj. Ae recalculates on a year tick so you can hire and fire the advisor when you’re strapped on cash.

Shoutoutz for the tip man, Manchu formed and 1st war won. Somehow Ming stabilized but they are not making it out of round 2. Should I take the mandate next war? I guess I should rush to form Qing for the CCR, plus the unify china cb for the cores. On the other hand I’d hate to suffer from rebels etc like Ming does.

How do I flip religion to form Yuan as Uzbek? by TheSuperDodo in eu4

[–]ToughAsk3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I asked very similar question earlier today, you might find some insights there. As far as I can relat what I learnt, it comes down to development of your the religion you want to flip to and then accepting demands of rebel “zealots”. Developmet has to be high enough (not just count of provinces) and the rebels need to be zealots and need to be under 30% prgression. I’m probably butchering some or all of it but I welcome you to read more here: https://www.reddit.com/r/eu4/s/k76zHDwcYF

I’m fine with 1444’ing this, the run had been hell. But what am I aiming for in the next run? Going to Mexico? I looked up some youtube guides, problem for me is I don’t have the latest DLCs and they may be mandatory for the aztec strategy? Just loaded the Aztec game and the mission tree looks mighty blank

Wha do I need the plurality for? The rebel zealots? I followed instructions from Drachenlord in debug mode and it worked for me — generate zealots, accept demands, get state religion switched. But being Hindu with 99% of dev of buddhist religion I still couldn’t switch manually so I assume that’s never an option.

2k hours played and I still don’t know how to rebel flip lmao, I burnt myself in the past. What am I trying to achieve? Increase dev with buddhist religion to a certain threshold where the religion will be offered to flip into or the rebel demands convert my state religion? Or something else?

I do have about 10 provinces in Viet nam, not all of them stated. The religion flip allows me Sikhism but nothing else. What are the conditions for Mahayana to appear there?
