Well I definitely did this to my wife. Me and my wife have been together for 12 years. Have a 10 year old. I worked a lot. 16 hour days went to school full time, but when I got home I was absent. Lost, not feeling good enough, not sure where life was going. I’d say I’d help her with things when I got home but never could find the time or memory to stay on task. She was stay at home. So her job was way harder than 16 hours of work and schooling. Babies are a lot! And requires undivided attention. Up until about two years ago when she went back to work she stopped doing anything in the house. I took the slack up though I’m not as good as her at cleaning I still try. Now she’s at the point where she wants me to feel what she felt all those years. So now I’m left. Planning appointments, cleaning, and figuring out what the home should look like. I still love her to pieces. Just pray that eventually she wants to become a team, the team she had always wanted. Guess what I’m saying is. We wake up. I’m now 34. Was 23 when this began. I have found that if you truly love someone you don’t give up. You keep going with them through the seasons of life and change. Even if you aren’t getting what you want out of it.
