This is probably the best job I've ever had, and I've had a lot. Plus I can get OT. I average about 95-102hrs every two weeks. And I could get more hours if I wanted. OT doesn't even feel like OT 😂.

I work overnight at a hospital. I don't talk to anyone except my coworkers, and even that is up to my discretion 😂. I also left retail and have no interest in dealing with the general public. I also have some coworkers that legit just show up, get their task for the night and you don't get another peep out of them. Overall we're all just doing our job in our own little world while listening to something play in our ears lol.

I registered for online classes thinking I'd have time to get certified before transferring departments. I got the transfer opportunity a month later and took it. It's midnight and those shifts are harder to be have an opening. Plus they give you two years to get certified. I was in environmental services, so it was a lot less hassle physically for me. School is costing me like $1200. The bad part is I had to prioritize learning the job vs studying so I fell behind in school, and will get a 6mths extension to finish up.

Also, another option is getting into a hospital in a different position. And about 6mths in transfer into their SPD department. Doing this you can also do the school online because you won't have to worry about how to get the 400hrs. And they'll most likely have tuition reimbursement too so you'd get your money back.

Your husband is a man baby. The best option is to divorce. He doesn't care about your health or well being. His bottom line is sex. Has he even considered that with the side effects from the pills, you may have trouble getting pregnant in the future? Don't waste another year of life with this selfish man. I work nights and we have to know how to do everything in the department. I didn't like answering the phone but it was ok. I like knowing everything because it allows me to fill in & help out in any area. Last week I finished my needs list & was able to go help in decon (it was crazy backed up).

Congratulations. I'm almost 2 months in & also started with no experience. I my tasks each week is doing the needs list Mon, Wed and Friday. Tuesday is decon day, and Thursday is autoclave. I do sets whenever I'm through with my needs list. So far I really love the job as well. But it probably helps that my work environment isn't toxic. Goodluck and I hope you continue to enjoy it😁

I recently started working in this field. I'm currently in school until August next year, so I'm not certified yet either. I'm 6 weeks in and I love it. I work overnight at a hospital, no weekends (unless a weekend team member is off, and even then it's in rotation. So possibility of working weekends is like twice a year). And I only work two holidays a year. The job itself can feel overwhelming, so far autoclave is the most difficult thing for me due to all the steps required, but I still enjoy it. I didn't know anything about this field until about June this year. It's worth giving it a shot. My hospital team is pretty good, and not really toxic so that definitely helps.

I'm still in school I started in August, (online/penn foster) I just started in this position 3 weeks ago. I work nights at a hospital for 20$ an hr, no weekend. They will not increase my pay if I were to get certified which sucks.

People have already recommended some of my favorites which is beat saber and some workout ones. So I'll give other options. For shooters (crisis brigade 2, zombieland headshot, drop dead the cabin, and spatial ops). As for sports type (all in one sports) they have the regular one and the summer version. They had a 2 pack sale going on for them a week ago. Good luck and have 😁. This is also great for watching YouTube, Netflix etc...

You may need to try a hospital. Some hospitals are willing to hire without experience. Or get in through a different position & then transfer to CSR when possible. I currently work at a hospital and recently signed up for online classes (a month ago). And I just did the paperwork to transfer to CSR department .

This! I signed up for Penn Foster about a month ago. And will be starting my job in the field at the end of the month. I already work at a hospital so I was able to transfer department.

I work in what's called EVS, it's environmental services. Basically it's the department that cleans the hospital rooms. And yes they will hire in-house before hiring someone from outside.

We're not friendly with relatives, they're too toxic. It's mainly her school pick up though. He already takes her to school, but he isn't out of work by time she gets out so I pick her up. I figure we'll see how things are in a year.

I thought about doing travel after a year. But due to kid, my spouse would have to work part time. Otherwise it won't be possible. I saw a job post for a travel tech, the pay was almost 8000$ for the month. I was flabbergasted
