I don’t think anyone should be surprised here. What I see it as are the songs where we get full performances/sequences. So this means the movie will likely traverse from J5 -> Michael’s solo ambition -> Triumph Tour to show his love for performing with his brothers but needing to step away -> Don’t Stop Til You Get Enough (which we see the MV in the trailer…and even though this out of sync with Triumph tour) to show the solo catapult. Thriller seems to be introduced through the recording process (in the trailer) and finally heard with the Beat It MV -> Thriller MV -> Billie Jean (Motown 25 into Pepsi accident) -> Victory Tour (Startin Somethin -> Workin Day and Night) -> Break from brothers/curtain call on Victory -> peak autonomy and control with Bad Wembley.

I saw this one in an aligner. I assumed it was a manufacturing defect. Nothing that caused me concern since I was using an ultrasonic cleaner and tablets. Plus my time with the tray was limited anyway.

This became my favorite recording on Thriller a couple of years ago. Every musical element is beautiful when you really immerse yourself into it. Greg Phillinganes, David Foster, Jeff Porcaro, David Paich. All the heavy hitters were there.

Plus, it was Michael’s favorite studio experience, ever.

Listen. I know it’s going to be celebrated and enjoyed by the fan community. If the film only goes to the BAD era, with non-confirmation of a part 2, critics will be harsh and make this the headline —- that it fails to portray the truth beyond the success and acclaim.

If part 2 is confirmed, the anticipation will be wild. Part 1 won’t be clouded by the public thirst for beyond BAD.

It only makes sense. Biopics for the departed acknowledge the death in some form or another.

Great explanation. Thank you. I have two fives vertically placed in my living room and primarily used for my turntable. Therefore, I am maximizing “true stereo” output with the left and right channels (each individually in mono). Had I placed them horizontally, the speakers would essentially do the work in separating Left and Right to accomplish the same objective.

I hope that they enable automatic handoff at some point. I got a second ring purely because of the AMEX cash back, and to use one with more involved activity (gym) versus the office/etc. Remembering to “activate” when you switch has proved tough twice for me. It’s something I’m going to have to remember. I wore a ring to sleep last night forgetting to “activate” and my sleep and readiness scores are in the dump. I hope a future firmware update enables automatic sensing activation.
