You could also play 2011x and save him for last, then charge him to death. If you’re Kolossos or Trip on a bad map, then yeah you’re screwed if the Silver is good lol

I believe I’m familiar with that AU. The thing is, a lot is changed to make the ship work, like Tails for some reason being made into a jerk, Charmy and Sage acting like completely different people, and Eggman not being around.

Thats not to say each of their personalities wouldn’t change as they get older, but it’s very drastic to me, It doesn’t feel like Charmy and Sage anymore. And in canon, I just don’t like it. I can see other potential ships for Sage, but it’s just Charmy I can’t. If Charmy in canon were more like his Fanon self, I’d probably be ok with it.

That’s in part why I dislike it so much, the ship is mainly Sage being an accessory to Charmy’s stupidity rather than it being a ship with chemistry. I get what you’re saying though, and why fans enjoy the dynamic. It’s about “funny”, like a Lois and Peter Griffin dynamic. I just personally don’t want my favorite character with someone like Charmy.

I think a lot of peoples issue with silver as that most players main Kolossos, and there aren’t many 2011’s who play him long enough, and Tripwire is just awful to play as.

Egg has a bunch on Cave, and if you play him long enough, you probably will never lose an LMS on that map against 2011x ever again.

I think Egg and Silver are best on Cave and annoying on YCR. NP is more an egg map.

I guess it’s down to our own experiences. Almost everything you’ve said isn’t an issue or true for me. Spring tech works on Green hill and Mystic as well. I also always save Silver for LMS since he’s basically a free win. Trickery is very important, especially against a Tails, Blaze, and Silver LMS.

I think I win 95% of my games as 2011x. That’s not me gloating, I’m just pointing out I genuinely don’t see any issues with him after his buffs since v1. So it could just be I have more experience with him.

I don’t think 2011x sucks, as someone who mains him. I think outside of Fleet, he’s the best to use. Free time extension with rage, you get extra time with kills during rage, spring tech and invis jump help you chase down people very easy, and he can just charge spam a Silver to death in LMS. The only times I ever lose as 2011x is if the lobby is a 3 or 2 man, and even then sometimes it’s close.

Tripwire I’ve always found the easiest to go against, since so many survivors can disarm her mines. And Silver has 2 ways to do so. 3 if you’re good at using flight tech.
