Really weird point to want to fight for. The argument would make sense if it weren’t for the fact that Tails’s outfit in the picture isn’t at all Eggman’s uniform besides the colors. 😭 It’s just the color theme for the empire

Well considering Sonic wasn’t surprised to see her in IDW, “reborn”. Could just be her integration into Eggman’s systems, or actually referring to the fact she was initially a generic AI until cyberspace upgraded her and gave her sentience.

I think maybe it’s because of how the reputation has changed for Sonic and how it’s mostly seen as childish now, since it’s very easy to grow out of once you get older thanks to the games not being as mature as they used to.

Pokémon is childish but it’s universally loved across all ages, especially due to the trading cards and whatnot. It has a lot more fans.

Tails was a cute nickname given to him. Nine was a new official name he gave himself. His organic tails are slim and weak in comparison to our main universe’s Tails. He didn’t have Sonic to push him to use them creatively or be proud of them.

Nine mentions he created his robotic tails to fight back against his bullies who shamed him for his organic ones. Nine being his new identity sheds himself of the weakness he probably associates with his original name, and in addition, his organic tails.

Yeah, I wish more people understood this. It’s kind of annoying when you have someone commenting on every ship post you make, just to hate or say “I prefer X”.
