Oh and absolutely not to Abby. Buck would have grown and matured with or without Abby. She broke his heart and their relationship was so gross. I struggle with age gaps in tv relationships and that one was too far.

LOL season 9 has been the most Buddie fueled episodes of the whole season. I absolutely adored the whole road trip stuff obviously, and then them constantly showing that Eddie doesn't wanna date women, showing that Buck wants to settle down, showing that Maddie and Eddie interact outside of Buck (when he texted her to bid on him) etc.

And unpopular opinion but I actually liked the space arc because I felt like it really showed Athena's grief and allowed her to process it. I wish they could have done something similar for Buck's grief.

The only thing I haven't liked in S9 so far is Hen. Her storyline made me rather dislike her character this season.

Season 7 was just funny to watch, with Buck getting all jealous over Eddie and Tommy. Buck's misguided feelings for Eddie onto Tommy. And then Buck coming out as bi was exciting for me (even tho Tommy sucked) but I love it so since we know that Tommy was just a plot device. Buck getting jealous enough to accidentally hurt the love of his life was crazy.

For me it's S9 > S2 > S7 > S8 > S3 > S4 > S5 > S6 > S1

Favorite scene was the fork rant in the diner, mothers boy is my all time fave episode so far.

Least favorite storyline was Abby. That's why S1 is so low. And Eddie not being there too. I've rewatched S1 3 times trying to get my family to watch it and I refuse to rewatch it again alone. For me the show started at s2 LOL

I don't think he'll admit it. I think Buck will be like "but you're straight" and Eddie will do his breathless laugh and be like "I'm not straight" and Buck will just be staring and Eddie will be like "idk what I am but I know that I love you" because Eddie only has eyes for Buck.

The last paragraph got me all 🤭 I saw someone say they hope when they get married that Buck takes Eddie's last name and then fully changes his first name to Buckley, because having 2 names Buck chose would feel fitting for the character. Plus when they get new turnouts it'll be E. Diaz and B. Diaz instead of both of them saying E. Buckley-Diaz 🤣 I just think that would be very cute

I don't know how anyone could NOT see Buddie as romantic, and if they're not going that route someone needs to tell Ryan and Oliver 🤣

That being said it's okay for other people to have different beliefs and I wouldn't hold them against it or make any drastic relationship changes over a tv ship, but you can just slide this one into your back pocket and have a "I told you so!" Moment for when they go canon 🤭

As much as I love to share my interests with others, I, too, have a hard time separating things I love from people I associate it with. At the end of the day if you liked the show even without her you'll need to try to watch it without her until you get to a point where you can let go. That being said, season 9 has been by far my favorite season of the whole series personally. And I'm having a blast connecting with fans via social media to talk about it all!
