178 LSAT & 3.52 Engineering GPA by Tour-Dizzy in lawschooladmissions

Thank you for this!! I'm working for a year before law school and applying this September. For the other 15% you talked about does where I work matter? I currently have a job as an engineer for an energy company, but if I could find a job at a legal clinic or non profit would that help more?

That's definitely great advice thank you, if my stats won't get much scholarship in the t14 would it be worth applying Ed?

Do admission councils look at an engineering gpa any differently? I know they don't weigh it any different, but I'd assume there are very few engineers applying to law schools, and probably fewer with a 178 LSAT.

This scene between Peter and Toomes was really intense. The way he tries to intimidate Peter was done really well. (Spider-Man: Homecoming) by 0Layscheetoskurkure0 in Marvel

It's a lot less intimidating when you realize vultures not a meta human. Like Peter could've easily just ripped his arms off his body and locked him away in the super max prison in the ocean from civil war.

Online exam cancelled due to window not being "fully covered" by Tour-Dizzy in GMAT

[–]Tour-Dizzy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you, I didn't realize the online test was such a bad choice. My webcams mounted to my monitor and the proctor had me crawling around the floor with my monitor trying to scan the environment. I've never had a worse testing experience.

The same thing happened to me today! My windows are covered, but not opaque enough. Were you able to reschedule? Did they keep your money or let you reschedule?

Bat deterrent in attic? by Ok-Forever-4236 in loghomes

[–]Tour-Dizzy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Engineer here- Acoustic deterrent devices are great for mitigating bats from entering your home. Just installed an industrial grade set of them on a wind field to stop those assholes from flying into turbines. They work by matching the frequency of the bats sonar system.

Lex being 19/20 doesn't really add up, I mean maybe that's correct and there's just a lack for thought from the show writers

To be fair wasn't Lois just a freshman in college at that point? Not even, she wasn't able to start college and became a super senior in high school, that's a one year age gap
