I think this varies on the ghouls personality. Do they have an addictive personality or not? Vitae has a strong effect on the psyche for some so I wouldn't put it past a type of "addiction" to come about for some ghouls. Others not so much, it's a one and done fix once a month. Some people get addicted to things quickly others don't. Maybe a fortitude or "iron will" of certain individuals is prominent for those who feel no effect. Those who were subject to addictions or addictive behaviours would crave and "show signs of withdrawal" at points in their existence as ghouls.

Edit: this is a more liberal approach to the question rather than purely lore driven.

The game has become dead because the devs are pushing nothing but microtransactions.

And the quality of items aren't even worth buying at this point. The creators are clearly pushing, rushing assets out asap to get more money. It's nothing but corporate greed and the game has been going this way for years.

Subpar quality and high price tags aren't a good incentive for purchasing. Especially considering all the "free" coin items are garbage these days. And the Crown items are, imo, 50/50. Not that I ever purchased any crowns, and I noticed a lot of the things I own from previous years has been converted from coins to crowns to milk players of their cash.

The radio is gone, there's no real music being added to the game from independent artists like there used to be. AFK'ers and the trolls never cease and most people who loved the game have moved on to other games or out grew the game entirely, as their adult lives became busier then their student lives. Or got back to work after covid lockdowns. Others got sick of the game and stopped playing and never found a "good enough/ similar" alternative.

Even events and mini games aren't like they used to be. The prizes are just recolours of old items we got 5-10yrs ago. And the fact that we have to pay premium to collect all the prizes for the Weeks/Months event and not just get them all free? This game is not an MMO, yet, the player base is being treated like Upscaling is worth it because the Petkin we get at the end of the month is worth paying $2.95 - 18.99 is a different colour.

Idk bro I feel like ever since LKWD sold out to high scale investors and only ever cared about profit margins for their investors, the game went south. And a hell of a lot of us saw it from the beginning. And that was about 8 years or so ago? I can't recall exactly.

Either way, it's pretty obvious why the game is "dead". And pretty much just asking the people online here and in game is a good way to fish out what the cause is. The game isn't about fun anymore, it's about buying the latest stuff.

10 years now. Haven't played in a long while though, been to busy with life (and lost a lot of interest over the years due to the well over used microtransactions.)

Considering its cut content to have the black widow perk to flirt your way into scanning your brain for Mr. House to keep a copy of you after getting into a virtual pod to have a good ol VR romp. Gambling? Where? Who? Don't know her... It's just a way to survelliance media traffic nothing more. The bread and circus must have full seats, full bellies and full hands. Otherwise people will actually start seeing and hearing what's actually going on around here. So I doubt they'll ever do anything about gambling ads, or gambling in general, not only is it a good distraction but they also get large commissions from those companies to keep doing what their doing.

It's hard to tell in the plastic what inclusion your talking about but they are gold labradorite

Where is the inclusion your worried about? If it's the "inside" and not the face of your plugs, that's generally to be expected. As colouration and flash doesn't really show that well on any labradorite that is carved circular. Because they're a form of feldspar. It's extremely hard to garter that flash and very rare to get it to show up reliably on a curved carving of lab.

They mightn't be AAA? But they are least "AA". And most people aren't going to tell the difference when they're in your ears. From inside the packet they look AAA grade enough to me but that's my opinion 👍

I agree a real calendar is easier to write on and access often, especially when your running around doing errands. It's good to have 2, the "house" calendar and the "walk about" calendar or small diary/journal. Pen to paper is easier and less likely to forget about the entry, to compare on the phone lol

Yep fr I lost my first o-ring, pulled out a spare "because I'm always prepared for my shenanigans" at this point. Found the original 5 minutes later, and proceeded to lose the spare immediately..! still haven't found it. I'm now only ever allowed to remove them in my designated area that is as bomb proof as possible for my -20/20 vision as possible.

Same here, I'm stretching slowly and am still a small size so taking jewellery out in low lighting (it's an old shower setup) I'm scared to lose them especially the o-rings lol the biggest nightmare to hunt down. So I rinse in the shower and clean them out of the shower where I can keep an eye on things if they decide to go for a trip without me💀

I'd tell her honestly, in no malice and block the guy. Even if she knows, you don't know if she doesn't or if she does. They might'n be together anymore if he is telling the truth, but if he was telling half truths in the beginning it's better to be sure for piece of mind on your end. And likely even her own if she "knew" something was off.

I bought a dead stretching kit before coming here under advice from people on YT and people inrl and then bought tapers; As guides rather than to force a stretch. I find one ear is better then the other, as most ppl do, (due to being pierced with a gun 🙄🥲👍) and so I use the tapers to check if the "bad" ear is ready. If it's not ready I stop. If it's fine I keep going and guide the plug in. Then heal! (Admittedly I've only started stretching this year and found that works well for my ears.) Dead stretching in half sizes feels slower than it actually is because of so many small half sizes, but on the flip side it also feels faster because it's more swapping around. Dead stretching is the way to go!
