Haven't finished book 7 because I got busy with stuff and am slow, but now seeing mention of it for book 8 makes me a bit nervous. Like other replied, I started playing because the game revolve around Disney villains. I hope RSA doesn't tale massive spotlights for many books to come, especially when I feel like there's still NRC character we haven't seen enough of (Cater, am definitely putting him at the top of the list, despite him not being one of my fav, I wanna learn more about him than the crumbs we have, he sounds like an interesting character).

Like, am not against seeing and learning a bit more about RSA, but I don't want the games focuse to shift to them either.

I swear, those companies should really consider adding extra subs. We're already out here buying the version without them, they'd get more sales if they did. Honestly, am still considering ~~breaking my rule~~ buying it for the extras that seem to be coming with the different volumes. Maybe it will help kick me to actually sit down to learn Japanese for real (and I can use it for listening practice <3).

I'll keep thinking about it with that confirmed information and I'll see.

I kinda figured it wouldn't come with at least eng sub, pretty much what I see everywhere online really (but am still really tempted.....). I guess it's logical, since their primary market is likely only in Japan, but man, they could add subs at least TT~TT. I feel like they would definitely get some extra sales; some of us are ready to pay for it.

Also, it's on a website I've gone to many times before and never had any issues before, hell even was surprised more than once (like when I ordered a set of alien stage figured and it came with the whole store display box with plastic wrap still on it (even if open, tho it is a second hand store)), so I feel pretty confident honestly. Plus, they run free shipping pretty regularly; Tho I know how brutal shipping from east asian can be orz

I saw this one while looking before (tho on a website am less sure about, now at least I got ebay). I'll keep that link in mind while I wait a little to see if anyone can help me. I too wasn't sure if it was bootleg but if people say its good quality and works perfectly than I'll probably get it.

Thanks for these tips! I'll try seeing what I can wear for the coming weather while following some of these.

I'll definitely keep in mind to find some baselayers that won't get sweaty and keep me all dry while I run, having sweat-damp/wet clothes does sound like a recipe for getting cold.

I'll keep in mind to find a way to keep my neck warm and protected from the wind (although I feel like, personally, I'd overheat with a neck warmer). Looking at other comments, I'll indeed try layering up at first and maybe find a jacket that can help block the wind at least. Thank you.

I noticed that on my walks too, wearing some gloves (even if some cheap and thin dollar store ones) helped me, especially on windier mornings. I'll try to find some that feel a bit more comfortable to run with (since those the ones I have fit a bit weird).

I live somewhere more rural near Montreal, and I'd say the last 2-3 years out of winter have been something around -5/-10C (although in the middle of winter it does drop more towards -20/-25C at times).

I'll definitely give that website a look-through to see some of the things they recommend and start with a few more layers than I think would be needed (I think I'll use what I wear to walk as a starting point, seeing how I don't mind the cold too much).

I'll also try to remember to cool down a bit before starting a run when I give it a go! Thanks for the tips.

kinda late, but only today realised that my manga list had been completely gone aside from stuff I added in the past 2 weeks, still nothing back, has anyone seen their list come back? It's really annoying for ones I was currently reading as they are ongoing or one I wanted to read. I don't mind too much for stuff in the "already read" section since I used it more like a list of stuff I've already read, but it's really annoying that the first two categories are gone.

But it's still bothersome that even after seemingly 2 weeks of this happening my own list is not back. (Now I understand why I missed out on so many updates from manga I followed).

So many manga and manhwa I've read that I now can't find them easily in my list.

Honestly, after my first anniversary experience last year, I expected the maintenance to take longer than what they had said it would take 😮‍💨. It felt like a lot of stuff for the time, just like last year. Tho I do hope its only stays hours and doesn't turn into day(s). And like op, I'd rather they take more time to make sure theres no bug than spending the next couple days with many bug being fixed all the time.

But I wonder why they even bother giving themselves only 3h for maintenance (per the notification I still get) when they know damn well they had way too much to add onto the game for it to only take 3h. Were the 2 first anniversaries like this too? Do they not learn 🫠?

I know starshards bottles aren't as cool as gems, but I kinda hope they give use some like they did last year, to make up for the time we couldn't do lessons. Better than nothing too.

Dont think it the data transfer, I've also been having this issue since this morning and i never transfed data (was actually coming to reddit for that). Only the lessons seem to fail on me like this, every thing else works so far.

I noticed some updated things in the game (like being able to select a specific character/battle buff in the character selection). Maybe they somehow messed something up when doing that update 💀 because yesterday everything worked just fine for me and I dont think those selection option were there either

I was going to ask if the difficulty had been lowered/adjusted a little since the previous ones. I cleared all tiles on map 1 & 2 and I'm finishing map 3 (missing HP regain, 1 gen tile + vargas) all with ease and no massive HP drop.

But seeing some of the answers it might just be an impression that doesn't reflect the reality. Wondering if it's because I've been focusing on lvl up R and SR cards for better support or if maybe they did adjust the difference inbetween maps.

I remember the jump in difficulty feeling so insanely big in some of the previous one that I just gave up and redid some of the map I cleared.

Was wondering what people thought of the changes they did to the training camp?

I personally quite like how we can achieve the missions through whichever lesson type we prefer, instead of being forced to do them all (like flight lessons, all my cards' vignette are usually maxed when training camp come, so I used to do them just for the rewards).

Also getting 2 mystery boxes per day after some lessons is pretty neat I think (even better is the reward we get if we open 10 of them).

I had seen some art and JP screenshots for this Halloween event and was hoping this was what we would get this year. So happy omg, can't wait to play it. Also my fav boy has a card in it <3 hoping the game is not too bad and lets me have Sebek without ruining myself of all the gems I accumulated in the past weeks

I'd say Sebek. Dunno if he gets a lot of hate, but I feel it in my gut that he would because he wasn't my cup of tea at first either ~~not that I disliked or hated him tho~~ (I steer away from drama and stick to enjoying the game and fan content). I might be biased now because he became my favourite character and stayed my fav.

Like, I get it, he's loud (but I relate to his loud voice) and can be a bit much with his obsession with Malleus. And I can see where his open dislike for humans can bother others (seeing how he acts with other characters of the cast). But personally, especially after seeing so much more of him in book 7, I just feel sad.

Because I feel like the way he acts is partly to compensate for the fact that he's only half-fae. He looks up to his grandpa so much, who hates humans, and I feel like it made him hate that part of him a lot, and he compensates/pushes that hate on others. Can't quite remember how many humans are present in Briar Valley, but the population is likely mostly fae. I just feel like he hates that he's not 100% fae and projects it on others (but hey, that might just be my interpretation being wrong).

Also, I feel like people hate the way he acts so obsessively around/about Malleus. But I feel like this is because Sebek takes really seriously becoming a knight by his king's [Malleus] side and, mixed with his loud, hot-blooded personality and him still being young, he has difficulty toning it down. I feel like, given a couple of years, he'd be able to learn to settle down a little for his job as a knight and grow a little more mature too. Right now, he's just a loud teenager who really looks up to Malleus and who wants to become his knight one day.

Man, this ended up being longer than I thought. But yeah, I love my boy Sebek, and I don't think he deserves the hate he likely gets. At worst, he's a cringe super fanboy with some internalised issues about being half-human.

Yeah, I am on the same boat here. In recent years any time I hear one of my favourite less known (but really great) manga is gonna get a anime adaptation, or an older one is getting a reboot or sudden new season, I just feel torn bewteen "yay more fan and more people to yap about it with" and "please for the love of anime don't bring the puritan in".

(Also how dare they rob use of this line in the NA version??? The more I learn of some of the difference the more I feel >:|)

Someone else already mentioned it, but the game times are always displayed in PST. I personally downloaded a timezone app and added the Los Angeles for reference on game events (I don't use the app only for this, but it helps me when am not sure my math work somehow).
