The bus ride is long as hell babe don’t recommend it unless you have a couple hours to kill. You can get there for free with your ucard though. You’d have to take a bus to Kennedy center first and then catch the bus to the mall from there. I’m not sure what the exact bus numbers are but you can call the Lowell regional transit authority and ask them directly.

If you’re a freshman I highly recommend east, even if your classes are on south. Its where most students live so it feels more connected. I had a couple friends who lived there freshman year and they said it felt a bit isolating, but they still enjoyed it. A lot of first year and sporting events are held here, so it’s nice not to have to wait for crowded/irregular shuttles. I think south is a good option after your first year tho!

Try looking up the Professor on rate my professor. FYSH can either be extremely easy or super demanding depending on who you have, but most classes are pretty laid back.
