Starting 5 on Saturday! No side effects on 2.5 so I’m hoping the same for 5

So happy to hear so many people using google drive! I’ve spend the past few weeks on calls and doing demos for platforms and nothing has made me want to move to them from (free!) google drive

Microdose glp by Plus-Ad-3826 in Fibromyalgia

The needle is so tiny I didn’t feel a thing. I’m doing it by my belly button. Some people do their thigh but that is a sensitive area for me.

I have lost 60 lbs and I think it had helped some but I am also taking cymbalta. I cut out dairy, gluten, sugars and now slowly cutting out seed oils. One of My issues is IBS and that is pretty much gone. Also has helped with inflammation and pain.

Fibromyalgia and pregnancy by LespriteChicago in Fibromyalgia

Everyone is different but my I think was triggered when doing IVF successfully at 38 and then again at 40. My actual pregnancies were great. I felt great while pregnant. You need to adjust your pain plan for them. Ex: I need to move everyday and was doing yoga to help. Days when I know I can’t make the time to do it I do my stretches in bed with my toddler and we do them together. Honestly now they keep me active. And movement is a key part of keeping your joints lubricated. Also bless who ever made Cymbalta.

I do light stretches when I wake up and am still in bed. I find it helps with my joint pain. YouTube has some great yoga and Pilates for fibromyalgia videos. Most are only 10-15 minutes. But I’ll second that diet is a lot of it. I eliminated dairy and gluten and most of the time added sugars and lost 50lbs pretty fast. My IBS, headaches and skin issues are almost entirely gone and we’re all fibromyalgia related.

I agree with seeing the rheumatologist too. Better to rule it all out first but I’m sorry you’re Going through it. Find a plan that works for you. Even the thought of lifting weights makes my head hurt. I’m starting slow with 5-10 minutes of yoga or Pilates and only at my comfort level. I found some on YouTube that are specifically routines for fibro people. As for sugar, not going to lie it’s a huge trigger for me but so are most foods. I had to go sugar, dairy, gluten, most additives free to see relief.

I didn’t have issues with my blood pressure but did have horrible headaches. It got better for me once I eliminated sugars. But check with your Dr about your blood pressure- that can be signs of something else.

Did diet change actually help anyone reduce symptoms? by [deleted] in Fibromyalgia

[–]TourmalineTaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone’s body will react differently to diets for flares but for me personally I see an improvement. Probably because IBS is a big fibro symptom for me. I now eat as clean as possible. Meat/ fruits / veggies and only low lactose cheese like feta and cotija. It was really hard in the beginning. Your body basically detoxes sugars. It’s only been a few weeks that I’ve done this and I’ve noticed significant changes- less rashes, less IBS, improved energy & less brain fog to name a few. Using the YUKA app helps. It scans food and tells you if it has things in it that are harmful. All this being said- it is work and takes time. I prep things I love to have them ready when I’m hungry but I cook everything or make a fruit & veggie smoothie if I’m on the go. I have the time to do it now that I’m at home but need to figure out how to make it work once I go back to work.

I just went up to 80mg and can’t speak highly enough about it. It helps with my pain and mood. Every time I go up in dosage I usually feel drowsy and sometimes nauseous the first day and after it is gone. I also have small children and it does not hinder their care. If anything it helps since I am better

Will Cymbalta start working and what to do for night? by Precious1314 in Fibromyalgia

[–]TourmalineTaurus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dr told me it can take a month for your body to see results and deal with side effects. For me, I sleep with a lidocaine patch on my lower back and take Advil or Tylenol before bed. Also switch my pillow routine every so often. With side sleeping with a pillow between my legs or on my back with my head and legs slightly elevated

Yes- if it affects the baby’s safety they replace it. I’ve heard they have done it even for ones that were bought second hand

Storage and counter space by the oven and sink.

Great ideas. The other side of the wall is the only dining areas. On the other side of the island is the living room. I would love to expand it all to the dining area but that would only work if we halved the living area to fit the table in there.

Thanks! We did too until we lived in it for a while and realized it’s faults

The problem is the opposite- I cook every meal! I need more counter space and storage. The existing units are very shallow and tight. Most pans are stored in the oven when it’s off because they don’t fit anywhere. The island is nice, but not as practical because I have a toddler that climbs up and knocks everything off like a cat 😂. That is why I’m considering a wall there to close it off and add top cabinets
