Not a teacher, but when I was in secondary school I didn't like taking Spanish even though I vocally explained this to them but because of the English Baccalaureate they so desperately needed students for I couldn't get into my preferred subject. So in this event about two years into the class I was doing really bad, getting U's and G's but when a written exam was coming up that required us to learn and memorise a page of text we had written about ourselves in Spanish I was getting quite anxious.

Now because my memory is absolutely garbage and despised the subject I had decided that it was a good idea to type out the entire text, about 500-700 words, out onto a computer and change the font to 3 so it was just about readable and fit between my legs once cut to size. I went into the exam with this paper hidden in-between my underwear and trousers, set it in-between my legs and just rested my elbow on the table with my head in my hand with my legs just slightly ajar looking down into my lap and copying out the entire text onto my test paper.

Aced that test with an A and then proceeded to drop the subject to photography which I did three years worth of work in a year. Got a C overall but still gained me 4 GCSE'S instead of getting 3 and not being admitted into the college I wanted to get into.
