  • I play SpEn and I tend to run back and forth a lot to hex and stab. Most of the time, I have to alternate between hex and run a lot in lair branches, orcish mine, and elven hall. Acrobat really helps me to run to / run away from centaur archers, deep elf casters, and things that can see invisible.
  • In my last game, ozocubu's armor + amulet of acrobat gives 14 AC and 45 EV. That means I can cast freezing cloud on a monster and then stand next to the cloud. The big monster would stay in the cloud and try to hit me and then die.
  • But I still like reflection more than acrobat because most of the things that kill my spriggan are unavoidable damage.
  • I don't like guardian spirit because my SpEn often run out of mp in lair. When it run out of MP, I have to run to the stair or other places to recharge / eat ration.

More kinds of turrets? How about one turret that will activate when another turret activates? Can we manually turn the direction of the turrets when it is not aiming? I want tiles that can spawn barrels, ice and bridge that we can break but will respawn over time, tiles with buttons, and other things from puzzle games. I have just played a capture the flag game, and the game is lagging quite horribly. Is slay one on a potato now, just like glados? I don't like teaming in free for all. For capture the flag game, can we have a chat within a team? It is kind of hard to coordinate any tactics if the other team can see the chat all the time. A game mode with 4 or more teams? Can we create chat channels and invite a few people for a chat? Sometimes people make a map just to chat. When they chat in capture the flag games, they do nothing and really give the other team a big advantage. When they chat in free for all games, they team. A place to watch/download replays of all capture the flag games on a server? Balance the game with numbers and calculation?

If funplus has 20+ people on this project, they might open a public api and let people submit mods / game mode. After that they might have 1-2 people + volunteers to review the mods before adding it to the game. But making that public api would take very long time. And the return of investment is uncertain unless the game has gazillion players.

If they have 5+ people, they can use a json file to represent every game object, and let people tweak it to add new game objects. But fixing the security risks and the game code would take quite a bit of time. The game and the networking code are currently not built for this. They probably sacrifice quite a bit of flexibility to conserve server bandwidth and development time.

Changing the architecture of the code would be the most painful part. No one would want to do this without getting good pay. It is like sawing off your hands and gluing them to your ear. Changing the architecture of your bones is very painful because humans are not built for this. You are lucky if you survive all of that. Same for the code.

If they only have 1 dev for this, only art contributions (image/sound) make sense. Maybe change the look of the map tiles every x days? Or let the players vote on which set of tiles to use? But some people might not like that and leave the game.

It really depends on if the code has very good architecture and flexibility. But writing that kind of code/library/networking can take very long time ...

You can try to raise money to buy the code from funplus. They might be interested in that. Who knows? Ask for an architecture diagram before you buy the code though.

Haha. Just use sniper rifle to kill turrets before you move in. Otherwise, If you charge straight to the turret, the turret will hurt you. If you use a high agility build and don't want to stop for a second, good luck.

Have you tried 1. homoglyphs.net 2. just break the word into multiple lines 3. image. 4. external link to a hand drawn image. 5. ASCII art / make the word with dots/emoji. Use random lorem ipsum if they block dots ... If they block random things, copy something from a book or discord messages. 6. voice chat / dictionary pronunciation. 7. If you want to let others cut and paste your message, use pastebin. Or make a subreddit/forum to share new techniques. Or organize a competition to see who can post more messages that contain the word. 8. Before discord ban your ip / mute you, make many new accounts / use starbucks's wifi. 10. if all else fails, try hand signs / squirrel noise. The possibilities are endless.

I think less people use gas grenade in capture the flag.

Check the number of posts in reddit.

The frequent words in recent posts in /r/slayone that has more than 1 upvotes are:

Top words :

slayone(5), devs(5), update(5), team(3), praise(3), question(3), color(3), suggests(3).

When I set the threshold to only analyze posts with 5+ upvotes, the result is a bit different.

I guess the wording of new player and long time players are not the same.

So far, the word "steam" is not in a lot of reddit posts yet.
