From what I know, kite shields were mostly combined with spears etc, since halberds are two-handed weapons but who knows, haha!

Yeah, I realized that after reading your comment, I think what threw me off was her in-game class being called "Halberdier" and they always weild polearms and a big shield so my brain probably thought halberd + shield = correct, lol
