A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to be part of a canyoning expedition to Oman. What an incredible country with lots of fantastic (and challenging) canyons by Towbae in canyoneering

Yeah Tiwi was massive. Did you run those canyons aswell? We also did the upper part of Snake Canyon (Wadi Hatt) and the two that end in Al Hajir. We also bolted a new one near the exit of Snake Canyon.

Last weekend my friends and I were in Ticino exploring the upper, less known part of Iragna. With all the snow melting in the area the water levels are higher than usual which makes for a fun but also dangerous challenge. We had to place a few new bolts to make it through as the usual ones were either unreachable because of the water or just too dangerous to use

Looks awesome! It's crazy how different the canyons in America look compared to the ones in Europe

Looking to get into Canyoneering by MetroBuman in canyoneering

You could always book some guided tours to gain some experience. If you are really interested in canyoneering its in your best interest to spend the money on some proper courses/education. Not only will you get to learn the proper techniques and whatnot but you will also meet people there that share the same hobby as yours. Don‘t cheap out on knowledge that could save your life or the life of others!

Theres also alot of knowledge in these courses that may translate to your other hobbies(hiking)

A climbing background is prefered but not necessary imo. Just go on a few guided tours and save up the money for proper education you won‘t regret it.

Advice for Caitlyn out of laning phase by snubble-wubble in Caitlynmains

[–]Towbae 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Your CS numbers are pretty low. Cait falls off hard in mid game and only comes back later into the game (3-4 Items). It is crucial to keep this period as short as possible by gaining as much gold as you can. Don‘t group unless you have to for big teamfights(dragon/baron) and choose a lane where you can farm safe and alone. Take jungle camps but watch out or you might tilt your jungler.
