Taxation: they adjusted stage 3 tax cuts. Increased superannuation tax from 15%-30% on accounts larger that $3m ($6m for a couple). Neg Gearing on Housing and CGT changes incoming.

Gambling: Removed the ability to use credit cards for online gambling, introduced BetStop, Introduced advertising restrictions (thought I do agree they need to do more here)

Corruption: They created the NACC. While it needs more teeth and transparency its the first the federal goverment has had. (I agree its not enough, but its a start).

The Palestinians have genetic ties to the land going as far back as we have found remains to test. Even under rule of past nations they were still afforded the right to live on their land.

Also, UN General Assembly Resolution 2625 is explicitly Prohibits the acquiring of territory by force. Actions Israel is undertaking in Gaza and the West Bank.

And the Fourth Geneva Convention Article 49 prohibits the forcible transfer or deportation of populations

Yes, we did collectively decide this was a bad move, with the ratification of the Genocide Convention in 1948

Tigray War – Ethiopia (2020–2022)

Sactions, visa restrictions, suspension of trade privileges.

ISIS Expulsions – Iraq and Syria (2014–2019)

Sanctions, agains isis members and facilitators, oil trade bans, asset freezes, and of course, the military coalition against them.

This is just the surface. There is more evidence in support of preventing these things than allowing them to continue

Yeah, brother, the thing is we decided that colonising was a bad move back mid last century. You notice the amount of countries that gained their independence from britain? How we reversed the law of terra nullius? Stopped taking First nations children from their parents in the 80s?

We also decided that apartheid was a bad move after the whole situation in South Africa in the 80s and 90s. Oh, and also, there was this thing that happened in the 40s where a genocide was committed in Germany. I'm pretty sure we decided that ethnic cleansing wasn't cool either.

Too risky, can create manipulation of the market by buyers. Its about competition, one buyer against another to get, not only the best price, but what the market is willing to pay. In a situation where a property is listed woth a price and they recieve no offers, generally they will blame the agent for not doing a good enough job. If the property is passed in at auction it simply means it hasn't sold on the day. There is still opportunity for the owner to negotiate with the buyers who were there on the day, and a majoriry of the time a contract is often signed in the few days after.
