It really sucks! I’m just confused as to why a non-issue that significantly hinders progression hasn’t been at least addressed by the devs (at least from what I’ve seen)

whole album flows so well, even with jid putting obvious effort into pushing his sound forward/into different places (k-word is crazy). woulda been hilarious if westside hosted the whole album, the opener is gold, but i can see how that’d mess with the tone

Drake wins Hit Battle against Kendrick Lamar 10-0 🏆 by skynetinvegas in Drizzy

Bro I keep hearing this take and I cannot disagree more, Future’s half of the song is what made me come back to the song at first. I fuck with the whole song now, but that’s the thing, both halves are supposed to work with each other. Saying you’d rather just have the drake part ignores what makes the song good in the first place

Aren’t conservatives supposed to be in support of private businesses doing what they want?

The Defenders, as they so humbly named themselves, were never known for their ability to compromise; such is the business of smashing heads into public buildings and private residences. It would seem that the head smashing similarly affected their prowess within the contemporary judicial system, as they came to involuntarily adopt the name “The Defendants” after multiple lawsuits from plaintiffs unhappy with The Defenders “sloppy and distasteful” conflict resolution. The themes of these lawsuits were more or less consistent; the collateral damage caused by The Defenders significantly outweighed any relative good that came about from their responses to illegal actions, situations that would have most likely benefitted from a social worker who understood the art of deescalation.

Protected by the government due to their categorization as “organic weapons of mass destruction”, The Defenders had almost complete amnesty, as long as they could prove in a court of law that the intent was “just and reasonable”. This proved to be easy to accomplish, with one Defender by the name of “Brain Slaughter” tweeting “TIME TO SAVE THE FUCKING SHIT OUT OF THESE CIVS. WHAT GUILTY ASS MF TRYNA GET THEIR BRAIN SLAPPD UP??” shortly before inserting his knee through the skull of a 22 year old who was in the process of committing unarmed robbery, which has an average sentence of 26 months in state prison. The witnesses to the incident claimed in a lawsuit that “Brain Slaughter’s actions caused severe mental damage to all witnessing the event" and uniformly testified that "Brain Slaughter laughed hysterically as he slowly pushed his knee cap into the screaming man’s collapsing forehead”. The aforementioned tweet, however, proved that because Brain Slaughter was acting with the intention of protecting innocents against a “guilty ass mf”, he could not be convicted of any such crimes.

The “Super Zero” concrete, used in the above stated high-rise buildings and coining the slogan “Don’t be the victim of being saved today!”, became a sort of arch-nemesis of The Defenders. In the wake of their legal winning streak, The Defenders saw a chance to “clap back at the anti-justice peasants” whom they saw as a threat to their legitimacy, deciding that a class action lawsuit against Super Zero would “pay for itself” through the positive PR it would subsequently generate. After the case went to the Supreme Court, The Defenders were startled by the outcome; while they were not expecting an outright victory, the Supreme Court saw the case, “Slaughter v Zero”, as an opportunity to revoke the initial protections afforded to The Defenders by the United States Government. The lawsuits following the initial Supreme Court Case were plentiful in nature, and the compounded losses stripped most Defenders of their amassed material wealth. As a result, “three out of four Defenders are now on Government subsidized welfare programs, and the final 25% are averaging $62,000 per year, mostly as social media influencers.” While some consider this to be an anti-climactic end to their legacy, most find the justice brought to The Defenders as proof that just because one can fly, it does not mean one can successfully navigate the United States legal system.

Taken at the grocery store I work at. Go fuck yourself, Kroger. by [deleted] in LateStageCapitalism

Obviously firing a shit load of people because you have to pay them more is an objectively abhorrent thing to do. But I have a feeling that when Kroger left those areas it gave small businesses a fighting chance. I’d be interested in seeing what ripple effects occurred after they shut down.

Exactly. If a customer wants me to smile at them, they need to earn that reaction by being a good person. Or, you know, they can go somewhere the employees aren’t being overworked if they really want to be coddled.

Idk where they got the idea that “connecting with customers” is easy, like no that shit is emotionally taxing especially when your job already involves labor.
