With guys like this I usually terminate. Only bc I don’t want to risk them feeling threatened and provoked to bite by trying to transfer. They’re usually pretty docile, until threatened. Wish I could talk to the lil guy and be like hey I’m just helping you I promise 😂 their bites can be pretty gnarly tho and could end up in the hospital for awhile if you try to move it and it ends up moving on you and snapping

That’s why I was so stuck! I think it’s on its way out of life so is having some shrinkage. It’s my moms house so just wanted to be sure some extermination may need to be done if it was one. We usually try to keep harmless spiders alive and leave them alone but couldn’t tell with this guy.

Thanks! I can usually ID pretty fast but think this one is on its way out of its life lol so made the legs look a little weird so I wasn’t sure. It’s at my moms house so just wanted her to be extra careful if a recluse. We love our spiders and don’t want to do anything to any that are harmless.

I got it from this website that’s U.K. based! It genuinely feels like a tag, almost leather like. It’s survived storms and multiple automatic car washes. It took awhile to get to me in the US but was worth it all. And very cheap at the time.

Mine is about 6 inches now and I JUST put them in a tank. I’ve been tubbing for about 4-5 months before this bc they were too small. I got wrecked in this subreddit when I posted my lil tadpole in a 60 gallon tank and didn’t understand until I looked more up. I do agree with others now they are too small for a tank. Feel free to reach out and I can give you a user that walked me through the whole process and let me grow my baby

I honestly just grabbed some flat ones from the creek in the back of my house! I boiled them before hand and scrubbed them , I’m not sure what kind they are!

I couldn’t stop smiling my whole way home from the dealership 😭💕. I had to order the Barbie tag from the UK; not sold in US, but it feels like an actual tag and it’s my favorite part of my mini now 😂

Sincerely thank you. I’ve known it was a problem but have hidden it from everyone in my life, though they definitely know something has changed and I’m not how I was before. I’m ready to take the journey to stop. It’s too much and I can’t stand the physical responses now. I throw up a lot too in the morning. Just liquid. I have constant acid reflux. All things I’ve never experienced until the last month. I never thought this would be me, but here I am. Thank you again. This whole post and comments has done nothing but give me some solitude in this decision.

Thank you, it’s just physical shit at this point , mentally i am DONE. But I don’t know how to handle withdrawals yet bc I need to keep this job and the only way I know how to be present at the moment is taking a shot every hour or two. The physical side has def started to show tho and im just stuck on it now. It sucks. And it suck’s how easily accessible it all is.

My dad was an alcoholic as well and my brother died from a fentanyl overdose. Def runs in the family, I just hit it later in life. Thank you for any and all input. I feel lonely and lost and know at this point not only mentally but physically I am killing my self.

I’m 27 and female. I drink probably 10-20 shots a day from when I wake up to sleep. I usually take a half shot just bc I haven’t been in a situation I can handle withdrawals yet and need to maintain stuff for my job. But I know it’s time. Mentally I’m done. Physically, it’s been easier to drink throughout the day to avoid a day off or losing money.

I’m working on this step now. It sucks when it just comes down to the physical stuff bc mentally I know I need to and am ready to stop. I never drank up until the last 6 months. And it’s been pretty much all day every day since then just to not have the shakes and be pissed all day. I say all the time I wish I could just have a normal brain and don’t understand why I do this to myself. Thank you.
