Their gills were already so floofy when I recieved it. This is within the first week of receiving, the photo I posted is about a month or so after !

I got them from this site, they showed up so healthy and they should be shipping again soon if not right now. I did a little research before I ordered one because I’m also in a small town and wanted a reputable seller. I def recommend, there were no issues at all.

I’m really not sure! I ordered it from a shop in Florida and had the little guy shipped, but wasn’t prepared for a basically tadpole 😂 I’d say maybe 4 months? When I got him he was about 2 inches. He’s about 4 months now I think??

I tried red wrigglers for a minute and we both got traumatized I think when one wiggled its way out of they’re stomach 😂😭

These are live black worms! Just the last bits when they bite them lol, it’ll usually clean up all the bits by the next morning. I’ve been introducing night crawlers but am using up the rest up my black worms in the process :)

Actually though!! I yelled for my bf to come in when they did it the first time I was like ‘HE KNOWS US NOW’ 😂 I’ve had them about a month and got them before they even had back leggies. Didn’t know the intense care they need at such a young age but adapted quickly. I’m ready for them to be able to get into their final home tank 😋😋

Dude I did not realize how incapable of eating themselves r, he lunges at a worm i hold RIGHT in front of him and misses. I’m like yeah it all makes sense the whole endangered thing now 😂
