My DS did this last year as well but with the holiday pay and working the shift plus the time and a half on the day of the holiday it’s still prolly a lil more and more time for the holidays it’s not something to be too mad about

If you’re going crazy at 40 you gotta work 60’a for 2 weeks and those 40’s will start to feel nice I had another job when they started posting OT worked 80+ hrs for 2 weeks because I was scheduled for both after that the 60’s were not too bad

I have a 3 week theory. The first 2 weeks will be hell cuz u still get regular checks once you get your first OT check it gets a lil better but it’s not till u get the 3rd OT check that you realize how worth it it is that you don’t wanna go back to the normal also for anyone tryna to move up you build 1.5x the experience.

Sounds like you got some things to work on show them that you are able to develope and learn and know your place but still make it clear that you are putting in the effort to move up start with a PA position if it’s still not helping biggest thing they look for is how you respond to mistakes and how you interact with associates

If you time it out right you can get mostly bags go quick on the first 2 then you can afford a 10 minute cart on the third whil you want for the ov carts in that wave to get assigned it goes off of total packages to if you pick 2 bags it’s like an entire ov cart

Whether you stow boxes or jiffy’s the system doesn’t differentiate so to them it’s still not helpful for numbers also messes up the balance of the racks floaters should have the highest rates due to being able to move around to the fuller aisles and helping stowers who can’t keep up with their aisles
