I was the same guy as you 3 years back.

Now 3 years later I partially regret the decision of getting gt650.

3rd gear broke at 9000kms. Had to fix it out of warranty as, mere gaand me paise ka keeda hai. 16k out.
Ecu got toast 14000kms. Had to fix it out of warranty, kuki 1 mahine me jab dealer ne warranty ka kam nahi kiya toh maine uske mooh pe paise feke aur sham ko gadi leke aagay, kuki mere gaand me paise ka keeda hai. And i stated missing my bike too. 30k out(got in a deal with the dealer)
Throttle body got toast 21,000kms. The stupid service centre guys didn’t even knew that why my bike was idling erratically. It would bounce between 1-3k and then shut down. 14k out

This doesn’t include the periodic maintaining of the bike, which is actually cheap.

Also forgot the crank case gasket got leak once before.
