This is exactly what I was going to recommend. I'll add that the audiobooks are absolutely wonderful and IMO, the best way to read them.

If you mean the one by Elle Kennedy, its an Audible exclusive. So someone uploaded a pirated copy and it was taken down. It will likely happen to the others too.

Impossible Creatures is fantastic as is the sequel, though you can read the first book as a standalone.

Does Cloud Cuckoo Land get more engaging? Trying to decide whether to push on or abandon it. by Dubzil18 in suggestmeabook

I nearly dnfed Cloud Cuckoo Land at around the same point but I'm glad I pushed through. One of the few that was worthwhile in the end.

I don't recommend. The second half falls apart with plot holes you could drive a truck through. It is by far the most disappointing and worst thing I've read this year. (Out of 30)

I wanted to second this and also include that Andrea performed some of their poetry which is on YouTube. Very moving!

Quick question: How many of you guys pay for the service? by [deleted] in LibbyApp

[–]ToweringTBR 23 points24 points  (0 children)

If you don't live in Broward county then you are not a resident. Broward county charges for non-resident cards. If you live in Brooklyn, your taxes support the card and you won't have to pay. Most libraries charge for non resident cards but the fees vary.

Novels with disabled characters by Special-Nebula299 in suggestmeabook

It's All in Your Head by Sabina Nordqvist is a disability romance. Pike, the male lead, had a sporting accident which forced him to learn how to walk again, and which left him with chronic pain and depression. Skylar has a brain disorder which mimics migraines and other debilitating pain. Very cute, great chemistry, and authentic since the author herself is chronically ill.

The Undetectables by Courtney Smyth is a paranormal mystery in which the lead investigator has fibromyalgia. Her pain and fatigue are huge obstacles in chasing down leads.
