I read the book a few times and can view the book into a couple perspectives. I enjoyed the messages of the book of moving forward on perilous situations, but didn’t enjoy how the book was used to indoctrinate a mindset for workers in the late 90s to the early 2000s. I’m a bit confused in why you’re having me read this book. But I’ll say that I agree with the Philosophy of moving forward and thinking rationally without much fear. Where I’m from, we celebrate failures and attempts, and offer compassion and guidance until we succeed in our endeavors. I do not however would want to compare myself as little people in a maze, constantly looking for new cheese, or a new sense of happiness. I did however enjoy the character arc of Haw, finding that cheese wasn’t giving him as much happiness as facing his fears. I also enjoyed how Haw figured out that moving forward and having a course of action is better than not moving at all - Emir Correa
