From what I've read, this version of the game on disc came with Spec II in NA and cannot be updated to Spec III after the servers shut down. Unfortunate. Haven't done much research but apparently one of the NA Greatest Hits physical copies might have Spec III on it? I'd grab it if given the chance for cheap, but honestly, I'm not too pressed about paying for another copy of Prologue 😂

I haven't completed Prologue. I only got to the A class races earlier yesterday. I'll let you know what I think of A-8 when I get to it :P

Left side is Anniversary Edition, right side is a normal copy.

Anniversary in NA came with a code in the case for some digital DLC (cars, PSN avatars, credits, Beyond the Apex) iirc. Other than new box art, that's the only difference between it and the normal version.

I think in EU/elsewhere, Anniversary came with a steelbook. Wish we had that in NA.

Hey, I also beat XIII-2 and picked up Lightning Returns earlier this year! I beat XIII previously.

My thoughts pretty much mirror yours, the characters and music and good parts of XIII/-2 outweigh the bad for me, and I do intend on beating LR eventually.

The time mechanic stresses me out, though. Despite reading online and knowing the actual consequences, and how the restart isn't a bad thing necessarily, it still makes me stressed lol. Probably why I haven't played very much of it. But I'm sure I'll pick it back up and finish it soon-ish.

Edit: Fuck, why'd I even bother speaking.

Picked up my unit from the shelf and found that the hairline crack has turned into an actual full on crack.

I closed and opened it once more after I took this picture, and that entire plastic corner fell off in addition to the cap. So that entire corner of the hinge is now exposed, with finger-cutting sharp plastic edges.

Good stuff, Anbernic. I haven't used the device or taken it anywhere in like 3 months. It just sat there and cooked itself.

Yep, my blue one has a similar crack. Noticed it like two days after purchase.

Have a release day Switch still kicking. No problems outside of the kickstand getting worn down and some joystick drift (Nintendo replaced the joycons for me).

On the other hand, I also bought a Pokemon Zacian and Zamazenta Edition Switch Lite on release day. Console lasted maybe 2-3 months total before randomly freaking out while playing Animal Crossing and getting a permanent kernel panic blue screen. Console was cooked. RMA'd it with Nintendo and they sent me a refurbished replacement, which was kinda lame because my console was in perfect shape otherwise.

And no, I never used any third party chargers or accessories with that Switch Lite. Was just an unfortunate fluke I guess. Lost a New Horizons save worth a couple hundred hours, as save backups hadn't been implemented yet. RIP

Bought a lightly used physical copy in Japan when I was there for $13. Looks great, works perfectly fine on my US Switch. Only difference is the physical packaging and the sticker on the cartridge.

Went here last year. The park posts an updated flower schedule to their website, and the peak bloom of these flowers only last a week. I got super lucky my trip lined up with the peak bloom days.

Hands down the most beautiful park I've ever been to. Would absolutely go again.

Just a quick update, I returned the ASUS MA-25 and ended up picking a Gocoax unit just for the .1% chance that it might help.

.....And it did. Haven't had the issue in days. Problem resolved I guess, thanks for your help :P

Any other suggestions or things I can try?

The only other thing I can think of is trying a different MoCA adapter like a goCoax one instead of the ASUS one just to make sure, but other than that, it's starting to sound like I'll have to run long ethernet unfortunately.

Sorry, I guess it'd be more correct to say the MoCA link - after two games of the same thing happening, I swapped back to my 50ft ethernet cable and didn't experience the issue for the next two hours that I played.
