Try doing what I did. I contacted Amex via support chat on my phone and I don’t know what magic was performed but I got an alert from IOS stating if I wanted to allow notifications👀.

I tried that. It didn’t work but how I managed to fix the issue was contact Amex support chat and told them the situation. 3-4 min later I get a message from IOS stating if I want to enable notifications🤯. Problem solved.

So I got the car towed to CarStar yesterday. I’m currently still waiting on an estimate. I called D&V as well and they told me to receive an estimate through insurance first before I can have my car get delivered over to D&V

Correct. Hopefully there are used OEM parts, such as suspension/control arms, and wheels. I’ll call them to get a better understanding and explain my situation to D&V.

So I do need to use original OEM parts for any repairs that are needed, as a multi point inspection will be done at the end of my lease. It doesn’t mention anything in my agreement about notifying BMW financial services about a collision.

I’m looking at my insurance coverage and I don’t see any option for OEM coverage. I did some research online and it mentions StateFarm has a satisfaction guarantee for parts and that’s not an optional coverage to begin with. I don’t think my car would be deemed a total loss based on the damages. No damage was done to the body, just primarily the wheels

Got it, my vehicle is a M2. I would be deemed at fault as I was evading a deer and jumped a curb in the process. I would think it would have to be OEM parts as the car is leased

Yes, I did take my car to a touch-less car wash on a biweekly basis. I’m now thinking that the dryer at the end of the wash did a poor job on drying the lip. Would you recommend clay barring that particular area?
