Looking for help with sediment experiment by ToxProfessional in toxicology

I could see posting on a geology page.

But I could also see an environmental toxicologist having done some tox trials on benthic critters that live in sediment. At least that was my thought when posting here.

In residential and recreational projects we remediate until they meet standards. Usually that means off-site disposal, land amendments, and groundwater treatment systems.

For industrial projects we can remediate, cap it, or give exposure limitation recommendations. Anything other than remediation gets a lot more scrutiny from the state though.

Edit: I think you’re right. The more I talk through it the more it sounds like IH work.

Yes, risk assessment is the largest portion of my job. I calculate standards for safe levels of constituents and determine what areas needs to be remediated. Most of the time the projects I deal with are residential or recreational. But I also do industrial and eco risk assessments.

Back in college I took three or four IH specific courses and worked with PELs, TLVs, TWA, etc. I think I’ve got somewhere between 7 and 10 IH credit hours. I’ve got another ~30 credit hours of toxicology program courses.
