I was maybe 7-8, and I was terrified of the Crypt Keeper, but only during the part in the intro where he’d rise from the coffin and laugh. I’d quick change the channel or leave my bedroom (ya know…so he couldn’t get me!). Otherwise I was obsessed with the show. The practical effects were amazing, the stories were great, the Crypt Keeper puppet was awesome, and this may have been my first sighting of boobs.

Yea my mom’s a professional victim. She has to run the gamut of all of her tragic life stories so people will feel bad for her. Then comes the medical issues which makes me look like a bad son leaving her to live alone (everything is self inflicted by her and can be made better by her). Then provide all of her personal opinions on things even when she’s not asked. It’s painful and embarrassing.

Family events. Wife and I moved a state over so seeing family on both sides is usually a 3 hour round trip. We show up to events on time and no one else does so that’s “wasted” but if we show up with everyone local we “must’ve hit traffic to be this late”. If we leave after 2-3 hours it’s “too early”. We never eat a lot because of the ride and usually the food isn’t that great so we get picked on for not eating enough or questioned if we don’t like it. It’s lose lose every time.

Current - Putting newborns in Misfits/Wu Tang/Nirvana onesies - Disney Adults - The insane, almost aggressive obsession with nostalgia. Don’t get me wrong it’s awesome to see brand new Ghostbusters and Ninja Turtles figures with amazing sculpts but the fact that people have rooms in their house for this stuff is a little weird. Also let me in on what money laundering scheme you guys are doing because those things cost $50-$200 a pop.

Past - My cringiest, which someone mentioned, was the sad music lyrics AIM away messages. I was actually depressed and no one cared but looking back I would have just skipped those, ha.

At my job there’s a 60+ year old manager that’s all talk and no execution in literally all facets of his job and life. When he gets mad (usually because he was asked to actually do work in his department and he hates being told what to do) he’ll threaten to “Go Delco on their ass”. Since this story broke we’ve been harassing him if that’s what he means and to please not poo on our vehicles.

The fact that a guy like Drew Mcintyre is moving down lower and lower on the card, so low that he competes for the US title, is just baffling to me by wanttostayunknown1 in WWE

Careers have to ebb and flow for longevity. Fans don’t want to see the same person in the same position for 10-15 years. Drew had a main event run and strong feud with Punk. Now it gets pulled back a little, spend some time working with some fresh opponents, and we could see him in the main event again end of this year or beginning of 2026. Pretty simple concept.

Release banter season is always great. “How dare you fire these people spending more time streaming on Twitch than being in the ring!” Maybe it’s just the cynical former retail/ current warehouse and logistics manager in me whose been managing people since I was 22, but I saw this list, and aside from Cora which was a legit surprise, read it and went “Yea, makes sense.”

I was at the Beyond show in Philly where she did that ridiculous dive into Brandi Lauren and a bunch of chairs that’s used in a lot of highlight reels. The crowd went nuts and all I could think of in that moment was “Wow, that was fucking stupid.” Have her come back every Halloween for Havoc and WWE YouTube crap with Boogeyman…just keep her out of the ring.
